In the *Undercover* series, I think Ashley's boyfriend turns out to be the son of the Nirvana boss—the one who went straight—and he wants to teach her a lesson so she can see what everyone is really like. Also, what you guys mentioned doesn't make much sense: her boss gets killed, yet she and everyone else don't seem to care. On top of that, everyone knows she's a cop—even she knows it—but it's as if nothing happened. Lol.
