for comments like this, I don't post anything else on this forum, I expected more from moderation! Remember the artists who make the content that promote forums like this!

I can see it from both perspectives. NandoF is one of the stingiest devs I've ever seen, and likes to whine and tease. I think it has hurt both his business and reputation. I certainly wouldn't give him any money, and regularly contribute to several devs on Patreon.

The thing is, even if this is a pirate forum and we all enjoy updates, some people here think creators must share their work for free, as if that were their duty! then you have cases of personal attacks, ultimatums and threats/harassment to creators... maybe even forcing them to retire, then we are all sad and asking "please come back" when we all know the causes.

This is a pirate site like F95, and does not require the dev's permission to post his/her work. If you pay for a dev's work and later post it on a pirate site, then so what?

Dumping you ,your stingiest dev & your opinion🤡👍

I have nothing to do with Nando, in fact I have some criticisms about many grammatical errors and pacing problems... I also have nothing against leaks, I'm against personal attacks and harassment towards creators, something certain user is famous for already.

To me the whole "you have x time to post free updates or I will leak everything" is rude, especially considering Nando literally made a page and there are many free comics there, is a bit outdated, I agree! but if you are a creator, you have to prioritize your supporters, if you post all your comics for free after a few weeks, you are being unfair to your supporters just to please us, pirates.

I have a bit of a nuanced perspective on this. I understand artists want to "make bank" for lack of better terms on their talents and skills. And they should; so should everyone. I also understand trying to maximize your earning potential and exercising every measure possible to ensure that you get paid for your work. With that said, when commercializing a product on the internet, you're going to almost always come across those who will either support your work by paying for it, or those who will never pay no matter what. It's part of the industry. The porn industry's content for example gets pirated all the time and they're a billion-dollar industry. 3D artists like Daval3D of whom I noticed NandoF is a big fan gets his content pillaged and posted all the time. And like Dustellar, I can appreciate both sides. From the pirate's perspective, the paywall may be too high, or the content may just be too "open-ended" for me to make a continued financial commitment. On the artist's side, I work hours on hours to render just single images, so if I'm pushing out 100+ page chapters of stories I create, it'd only be natural for me to seek compensation. Furthermore, I'd be animated if I found out that someone was distributing for free what I've worked so hard to brand and sell. I however have always been against the mindset that if someone is distributing my content for free, they're taking either dollars or customers away from me. No, those people were never going to pay, regardless. And the ones who do pay have enough disposable income to subscribe.

NandoF if you're reading this, I hope you do continue to post. I understand you're upset about someone posting your content without your permission. And I too believe that a little discretion could have been exercised, but you're not the first artist to whom this has happened, and you won't be the last. Unfortunately, this is a consequence of distributing digital content. As far as moderation, I don't believe any rules were broken, but I do agree a bit more respect could've been directed your way. On the other hand, you're under no obligation to listen to what I or others have to say, and if abandoning this forum is what you feel is the best approach for you, then I wish you luck on all of your projects.

Yeah, I've offered my services to several artists who make glaring grammatical errors. I'd even do it for free. They wouldn't even have to send me the images; just send me transcripts of the dialogue, and I'd be more than willing to clean it up where I can.

I'm not upset about the fact that content is leaked, what bothers me is the lack of respect for the work... NANDO Cry, I think many will cry if all artists start to decrease or even stop and look for other ways to work, I myself for example do not have art3d as my only job, but as many say I'm arrogant, I'm who knows what else!... anyway, I just think that respect is a nice thing.

You have mine. I don't know the reason some are so eager to be discourteous to those with whom they interact online. A person can be down in the dumps, and login to this forum or some other for a bit of an escape, only to be met by often crueler responses. I respect content creators not just for their talent but also because their content can offer relief to whatever may be troubling someone that day, even if it's an erection. If you ask me, I would attribute most of the disrespect to young age, though I shouldn't generalize too much.

I do hope you continue to post, even if it's not teasers or spoilers. I've always liked the capacity to pick the creator's brain.

I will say I am really impressed with you attitude towards this. Any work posted online is subject to piracy one way or the other, but rather than go off the rails you’ve tried to find middle ground where you can live and still keep the masses contented. I really do wish you success in you endeavors.
