Man, I love these stories so much. First book was more innocent smut more than anything, book 2 has a high amount of smut but has more plot complexity and emotional stuff, and from book 3 to 5 they are way more serious and make it clear that universe isn't a fairy tale either. I'm still kinda sad Paul didn't choose the girl I wanted as a wife, but the story is excellent either way. Nick used to have a patreon and a discord before going burnt out, and I'd like to ask him if at the start he considered the girl I wanted as a wife and then he changed his mind later or something, but I guess I'll never be able to ask him this question, lol.

Stumbled across Summer Camp many years ago at SOL, and really enjoyed it. Series was incomplete then. Took a while to grind through the many MB of content.

Always thought Christy was going to be the wife - their chemistry seemed awesome - but things got darker in Book 4 with lots of conflict and that was where it stopped at the time. Or my reading of it stopped. Book 5 didn't exist then, at least. No idea who it ended up being.

Definitely one to revisit, from the beginning, should time ever present for such an undertaking.

Can imagine the burn out. They got so detailed with so many threads. Can only create at that scale for so long.

I was checking one day who had also been nominated to the clitorides award around the year the ''Geek Goddess'' story was around, that's how I discovered this. Sadly cancel culture has killed freedom of creativity and this kind of stories are hard to be plattaformed anywhere outside of AO3, definitely this story was a blessing. Nick stated at some point that originally he hadn't thought this story would become so popular and that's why he wrote the 2nd book onwards, and added the plot of Paul's wife and dead friend. Nick also in his webpage used to have picture of models for the lady characters of the universe and some kind of wikia about the universe overall. In the wayback machine a lot of that material can still be seen.
