Not a fan of the updated alerts--the bright yellow background, etc.

Primarily this is a comment on the color choice. It was fine before. Yeesh its almost unreadable now. I have to squint. This is on a Laptop Chrome on Windows 11. Ugh. Also prefer how the thumbs up etc type notifications used to clear somewhat automatically if I just saw the page they were listed on. But I can live with that.

I agree. It's really hard to read, and it seems to require you to actally select all of the alerts before the New Alerts notification goes away. I liked it as it was, with just a subtle highlighting of new alerts that would go away once that page of alerts was seen. I'm on a Windows 10 PC. If anyhting, having a bigger screen just makes it worse! Admins, please take note!

For me the site is now mostly black and the UI or format had changed. I already miss the old style this forum had. There was a unique style it had and now it just looks like most generic forum sites. I also noticed the site seems to be a bit more slower now, but it might just be me.

While I like the "new look", the highlighting for "bold, italics, etc", when you use it, it is now missing. Maybe a color change? I do miss the gold bars at top and bottom of the pages ... but I'll get used to it. Also, maybe an optional mode for the original dark ... that might be nice for those who prefer it. The new dark mode is great. Thanks!

Yeah I know, change is painful. So now, with maybe two hours on the new plan, a few comments.
The alert list is the biggest complaint I have. I much preferred the highlighted unread and unhighlighted read. Now I apparently have to count alerts and account for those dropping after bringing up the list.
Y'all need to make the default avatars color inverted on the dark background 'cause they're gone. Though that isn't all bad. That Mark Read/Mark Unread hasn't resolved itself in my mind yet.
I just discovered the search display order which I've been looking for. Not where I'd like to see the setting but okay now.
That;s all for now but I'm sure more will become apparent in time. TTFN.

OUCH!!! This new style is so "BLAHHH" and boring ... looks like the WIN-95 style. Set the "Wayback" to 3 days ago ... why tinker with something that was working perfectly fine?

I have added some new styles. Should be easier on the eyes.
Disabled auto-mark alert as read on popup. You can set it as you like in your preferences. https://forum.allporncomix.com/account/preferences
In line with my previous comment on alert status indication.
The Mark read/Mark unread confuses me. To my mind, an alert has either been read (opened) or unread (unopened).
The alert countdown is convenient once you get used to it but figuring out the complete list of unread stuff escapes me. I did notice this AM that there were highlighted entries (good) but wasn't a complete list. That may have been due to overnight changes not picking up previous actions. SO, back to my comment on tagging each alert individually as viewed. Any comment?
P.S. I'm not going to be a MMI tester so my comments will pop up as issues arise.

There are three more styles that have been added. You can select a style using the style chooser at the bottom of the page.

There is a mark read button in the alerts popup that can mark all alerts as read. No need to view each individually.

While I do appreciate the choices (Omni is cool), I did like the Hi-Constrast "blue-on-black" that was presented yesterday. Any chance on including that in the mix as an option? Cheers, and thanks again.
