I rely on the Patreon to feed my family. I am doing it until I get a job. If you kill my Patreon I'll have to take a job that doesn't suit my comic work. Then you'll not only kill the Patreon, you'll kill all my free comics too.

Same. Most parts of the world don't regulary use credit cards. I have like one person in my entire family that has one and I'm not asking them to buy a fetish comic for me.
I understand being pissed off by all the piracy, and you don't NEED to provide everyone the right to access your content. I just feel like figuring out broader payment methods is a more productive way to combat with this than going to piracy forums and attempting to shame literal thieves.

I had hooked up Paypal to my Gumroad to give folks as broad a method as possible to pay. Paypal killed my account in under a month and are still holding the cash from people that bought after I did a withdrawal. Paypal being hooked directly to Gumroad was fantastic but they wanted more of a cut so they ended that deal.
It sucks for all of us. No one wins. I know Gumroad does Applepay and Googlepay if that helps.
If I was in a position to post everything for free I would. I love posting my free content. Unfortunately with the way the world is currently this is now my fulltime job and looks like it will be for a while.
