Encrypt for you?! But not for me? I'm using moonreader

It could be an encoding standard, i'm not sure i'm just accessing the files raw. looks encrypted to me.

The new epub looks unencrypted. :)

How you know the errors if the book is encrypted 🤣?!

It's a zip file..... ereaders have expectations of where and what files to look for. Plus the OPF file and cover page are generally unencrypted so you know what the book is, not necessarily access to the contents.

But if you look at the image posted above, html files don't look like that.

It's a epub file? If you failed to convert it to text or trying to open it with text only reader! its not my fault!
Try open it with epub reader!

I can convert it to any ebook type if you want?

The two files not encrypted, working well in moonreader, try it

Epubs at the lowest level are html/browser files, putting all the data and images into a neat package as a single zip file, just named as epub (much like how a Java jar file is just a zip file too).

If i couldn't read the html file as text, then likely neither will the browser. Not sure what moonreader does, it could be something as simple as a specific encoding standard as there's dozens of them and it looks like garbage when using the wrong one; But 99% of the Html files are UTF-8 with ASCII as a clear backup. (That or ISO 8859 or Windows-1252 probably). At no point should it have looked like garbage. But i could be wrong.

I don't know what moonreader is doing, some ebpubs not working in others readers but working in moon reader, the first file was the original ebook from payed site, working for me in moonr, the second is the same file but converted to epub again in ebooks converter to ensure it's working
