John blocked the platinum card. Nancy did not take it well. For a trophy wife, a gold card in public is humiliation. A fight in the living room. A threat of divorce while the shopping bags are still on the floor. Their son Mark is eighteen. He has been in love with his mother for years. He watches the argument. The dress. His father walking out to the club. Then he sees his chance. He tells her he is building a clothing website and still needs a model. The pay is good. She can keep every piece she wears. What he does not tell her: the job was already promised to a girl from his class. He does not care. He wants her.
