Teddy AI is used to create textures quickly, and the result is actually pretty good. The problem is that it is making the images way too bright, looking washed out with very few shadows. This makes it really hard, especially when trying to create nighttime scenes. What this means in practice:The artificial intelligence doesn't know how to properly separate what should be dark from what should be bright. Since it throws a lot of light on everything, objects lose that sense of volume and relief, which ruins the texture effect. How to fix this simply:- Force shadows (Occlusion): Add maps that automatically darken the corners and crevices of objects to bring the volume back.- Change the prompts: Give the AI more specific commands to avoid excessive brightness, using terms like 'soft lighting' or 'dark/nighttime scene'.- Adjust in the image editor: Pass the image through an editing program to lower the brightness and pull out more shadows before using the final resultNice images but I find faces and proportions still too off-the-shelf AI, to be honest.
