I confess I'm less optimistic... I was eagerly awaiting a more "substantial" storyline for FM, as hinted at in issue 58, which unfortunately falls back into a kind of easy formula. Since I enjoyed LF's latest publications, I'm very afraid of being disappointed. We will see, Drawing and technical skill aren't everything; a well-constructed storyline is just as important to stand out.

I think it’s still too early to draw any conclusions. Teddy has only recently taken over FM, so I think we need to give him some time to see what direction he wants to take the story. Personally, I’m relatively optimistic, precisely because he was already responsible for the Foster Mother stories before Juanito Brown took over. I really liked the way Teddy handled the story back then, so I believe that if he goes back to that style, we probably won’t have much to worry about in that regard.

I also agree that artwork and technical quality aren’t everything. A well-written story, with well-developed characters and a solid plot, makes a huge difference. But since the change is still very recent, I’d rather give Teddy the benefit of the doubt and wait for the next few chapters before forming a definite opinion. Let’s see how he handles FM from here on. I think there are still good reasons to be optimistic.
