[Six Pack Site / Joe Six-Pack / Sick Puppy Press] Comics

I picked it up on Lulu; it was a short read, maybe 5-10 mins, and definitely PG.

Don't get too excited about this one folks, it's cute but just...OK

Still it should be given some time to generate some income befeore we share here, so stay mellow frinds.

Was pretty disappointed I purchased it because I support him anytime he drops something but this is one of the weaker ones not much going on I prefer books to comics his comics always lack the spark his stories do

I'll share it next weekend

I actually quite enjoyed it as it doesn't feature magic transformation, albeit quite short. It really reminds me one of his old books

Here ya go.

A new book! Is it a trick... or treat? This is an anthology of four stories, all of them on the very creepy side. That's why we're calling it a creep-out.

Three of the stories have been previously published as part of the Candlewick Court series. So if you bought those books, don't buy this one. You already have most of it. The one new story is "Hollow Eve" about three college buddies wind up having to attend a Halloween campus party in sexy female costumes, and how they are about to lose themselves in their costumes in a most shocking and morbid way. Not for the squeamish!

The other three stores are the creepiest of the side-stories from Candlewick Court: "Agent of Change," about a father and son being rebuilt into daughter and mother, "Essence of Rose" where a man at a creepy wedding is having to fill in for the bride, and "Wrenshaw Primary" where two brothers try to make a killing by pretending their Grandmother is still alive. And thanks to them, she will be again.

It goes for $7.95 USD with 194 pages and 48 illustrations. The new story is a brief 6000+ words with 8 new illustrations. The rest are as they were originally published. It's fulfilled by Lulu.com. A free compilation of the first parts of each story is available, along with ordering links at sixpacksite.com.

I have bought Joe's books on release for pretty much 10+ years but I was really disappointed by the last comic... it felt like an AI comic that had been traced over so I will wait for someone to release this one before buying another, especially considering I have already paid for 3/4's of it. It's a shame because I love to support people who take this seriously and there's a lot of good stuff that has come from Joe over the years but I do worry the quality has been dropping a bit.

Re-releasing stories from the Candlewick Court series as a Halloween anthology is very random, I can't imagine it'll be very popular. None of the stories have anything to do with Halloween.
