We have something in common then I was in my mid to late teens in the 2000's and loved that time.. emo and goth girls <3 I loved listening to Korn etc. and what you already mentioned.

In my younger years, we did not use the words 'emo' or 'goth' (yet) ... even though the music of f.i. Joy Division was described as 'gothic dance music' in several pop/rock magazines.
Punk, post-punk, new wave and a bit of avant garde... that's what me, my mates and my girlfriends liked the most during our high school years.

Speaking of my girlfriends... here they are.
The one on the left loved Kate Bush, the one in the middle was into Siouxsie and the one on the right was a huge fan of The Runaways.

They were also huge fans of me!

And I loved all three of them.

So he suggested that they had to fight it out, and the winner would become his girlfriend.
