Chinese Assassin
Lisa Fang, aka The Silent Widow, was one of the Chinese Communist Party's prized assassins during the 1970s. Sent on a secret mission to Los Angeles, she was to frame the poisoning of the Japanese prime minister at a State dinner. Little did the Chinese government know that their estimation of American intelligence surveillance was grossly underestimated at this time...
The American and Japanese officials took their time with Lisa after she was captured, wanting to send China a message not to interfere with their affairs. This was the final photograph taken of the fallen assassin and sent to the Chinese government, before she was summarily executed.

The Chinese government scrambled desperately after receiving the news of their fallen spy. They reassured their communist allies, saying that she died a hero and never uttered a single word.
The Americans wisely allowed China to save face in the moment. In truth, however, they got plenty out of her.
Lisa Fang begged for her life after she was captured. She gave the men everything they wanted in hopes of being let go.
