Yeah, I've got eBook Converter and it's saying the same thing.

The only other shot would be to install Kindle version 1.17 which you can get about halfway down this page.

The book's old enough that that version should still work.

I appreciate the help, and I don't feel I was being jerked around. But I'm not going to downgrade any further. Bit of a headache. Hope someone else posts it. Not a bad read, but "Cuckolded on The Oil Rig" is hands down the best of the bunch.

The "My Wife, The Escort" is an excellent series. I read the entire collection, very well done. IMHO.

Excellent author, Oil Rig is extremely hot. I've dug around in all the obvious places and haven't found a cache of the missing ebooks anywhere. Tried all three authors, various eBook libraries, Amazon, Kobi, Google Books, etc etc. Gone everywhere. Not sure why. Author hasn't written in a while.
