with a script in photoshop, you could set contrast to -50 and get something softer and closer to the orginal mood.

It is closer to original, but actually, Im doing it intentionnaly to highlight skin texture. Its Dehaze option in Lightroom, which increases contrast and restores color saturation in washed out areas revaling details behind "fog". I understand not everyone should like it.

i'm not sure skin textures need to be highlighted that much. Skin of female face looks even a little bit damaged for instance. That reddish light on her isn't very realistic also. it seems she's been burned.

The chime rang on Christmas Eve and Brian’s breath hitched. Her perfume was a heady wave before his eyes even landed on her. Shimmering emerald green clung to every curve, making him imagine the softness of her breasts pressed against him beneath it all. He pulled her close as soon as she stepped inside. Even more stunning than he remembered, his Mom radiated heat and desire. His own body throbbed with need, a coiled spring ready to unleash.

I would say that is definitely more neon yellow than shimmering waves of emerald.

I share your horror, disappointment and frustration. Has Max Smeagol surfaced since this project was aborted with any other comics or an interview? This thread is proof there are passionate fans out there AND they are creative enough to experiment with the story. He probably at least had the plot structure for the entire story worked out. If someone could contact him perhaps he would donate his plot outline and story notes to fandom so we can go full circle (pun intended and unavoidable)
