I second Love Wolf. There's often no "finish," if you get me, but his models look great, and the loops and stories are good. (Although there must be something about TK17 I prefer, because I'm drawn more to Nini's and LW's older TK stuff more than their newer stuff.)

I am probably biased because I use TK17 for my own content, however I agree with you there. There is something about VaM that simply throws me off and I cannot quite put my finger on it. I will say Love Wolf handles VaM physics the best I have ever seen, especially with clothing.

Yes, I also prefer long stories, which make a character more full, and the transformation of the character from the beginning to the end is worth savoring. Those videos of several minutes and tens of seconds are mostly some sex scenes without any foreshadowing and explanation, which makes it difficult for me to understand why these videos are made, and I am not interested in them. Nini is a good storyteller, and I hope he will bring us more and better long stories in the future.

You always run the risk of making something either too long or drawn out, or not developing a plot line enough. However I like the build up...and because I do mainly narration....long stories fit the bill. To me the key to long videos is change it up. Meaning multiple sex scenes and a shit ton of positions. The other thing with long stories is how much are you going to animate versus still images. I know a lot of people who do 10 minute+ story do a lot of stills in their videos only animating during the sex scenes. I personally never liked this, but I understand why folks do it. For me I remember it was after I watched SumthingDfnrt's Neighbors Wife Series which was a good 1 hour each part...it made me want to start making my own videos.

The disadvantage of long-form animation is that it takes a long time to make, and the story has to be good, which means that the producer has to spend a lot of time thinking about the story, and the story cannot be stereotyped. It also takes a lot of time to make a long-form animation. The best way at present is to make it into a series. I have also thought about making animations, but the threshold is too high, and my equipment may not be able to handle it. I have seen some animations that are 10 minutes long, and the sex scenes alone take up 5 minutes or even longer, and they are in the same posture. What is the point of making such videos?

the problem is as a 2 parter it's a neat and to the point story. But since the corruption happened so fast in this 2 parter, I'm not sure what future parts could do to make it interesting

Also does anyone here have the rest of the HolyCCC's "Your Secret Memory" series? the first couple videos were soooo good

I really like that story ''Neighbors Wife Series'' It's a shame that Somthingdifnt covers half the screen with the story's subtitles, but that's its style. I wish they'd opted for small subtitles below the scene to better appreciate their art.

I can't speak for what other artists were doing, but I used to follow Love Wolf back before his long hiatus, and he posted repeatedly about the work he was doing to get the VAM vids looking "just right" on a variety of fronts. Clothing and hair in particular (aside from "jiggle physics" lol).

Yeah VaM out the box the physics are horrid. However some folks simply do not take the time to dial it in appropriately. However once you get the settings right, it is honestly on another level.

Well, since I'm a subscriber, I'll give him a free plug. He's not perfect ... his stories are far from perfect ... but he's a beginner of sorts. I've had lengthy conversations with him regarding content, story length ... character development ... you name it; we've talked about it. Being a guy, he feels uncomfortable approaching a story from a female's POV (as a married guy, it's difficult to fathom the thought processes very often), and I understand his reticence. Still, I think the guy had promise and is not to entrenched like others. At $6 US a month, it's a bargain watching someone progress, like my buddy CVXtreme3D.

That's fair. I like the animation piece don't get me wrong. However it by itself is just really meh for me. I guess I am overly critical because with VaM its a lot pump and dump subscribe to my $20 patreon to see 5 minutes of mindless looped animations where it seems the person made no attempts to make it even look halfway decent. Example...something as simple as proper scene lighting seems to be a foreign language to these folks. Or better yet...maybe actually hiding the VaM controls before recording...just to clean up your video a bit...just maybe?. A lot of these folks are using the bare basics of what t VaM can do...but trying to charge people to watch their averagish videos. Anyway....I guess it is all supply and demand in the end.

Full transparency this guy just uses Nickcockman's assets for basically everything. If any of you are on F95 I have been super critical of the guy for charging people while using other peoples work. Anyways....fast forward he decided to release all his stuff for free. I'm not the biggest fan as the stories are kind of meh and quality is average....and it is more or less looping sex scenes....but I know many folks like that.
