I'm sure the prompt can be tweaked to get more the effect you wanted, i just took the top 2 opening paragraphs and had it stripped for visual cues to feed SD. (Otherwise I'd hope to see the boy sitting up in bed, dark room, illuminated by the hallway light or a small desk lamp, etc, or find a later scene that better fits the story/book)

Specs-wise, RTX 3070 8Gb, and 32Gb Ram (Planning on 128Gb, hopefully tomorrow when it arrives), and 8 core 3.2Ghz CPU w/8 efficiency cores. But what you're seeing I'm using DreamShaperV8 and FurryGoNuts Anime. As long as you have enough ram you can run even without a GPU, but instead of say 30 seconds expect it to take 30-45 minutes. Doing SDXL or Juggernaut that eats nearly all my VRAM looks nice too but as long as it doesn't reformat to float32's it's decent speed, otherwise it's slow as i'm sure most of it's running CPU. But the biggest bottleneck is Video RAM, no doubt.

Still with the smaller models, i can run TextGeneration-webui, SillyTavern AND Auto1111 all at the same time, long as i balance the memory.
