Remake the image of Blondie's lost summer with AI, hope the third book finally come out some day🫡

Wow, amazing work — thank you so much. The images turned out absolutely great.
With your inspiration, I took the liberty of making a few additional edits to some of your images (based on my personal preferences, not necessarily based on the original image); I hope that’s okay with you. I used AI tools to adjust them according to my preferences (I worked with Grok, as it’s a bit less restrictive than ChatGPT).

Nice work! Glad I could inspire you, credits should go to kk and fraylim. Hope more classic pieces can be enhanced by AI.

Okay, let me offer my criticism. While on the surface the AI images seem to look more polished, where they fail is in the facial expressions. Fraylim's originals convey the stress and discomfort of the character, while for the most part the AI images... don't.
And there in a nutshell is my beef with AI imagery. It sucks at conveying emotion, because LLMs don't have or understand emotions.

True. But if you generate a big batch, you’ll eventually get something good—and the models are improving fast.

Respect that, so manual adjustment is still crucial for LLMs at this stage (or generate a batch like Lynn said)

Thx hh! I just upload the image and told Nano Banana pro to transfer it into Daz3d render style, make some detail adjustments. I may remake the second book if your guys enjoy~View attachment 2184620
I feel like this 3d render style works much better than the pseudo-realistic one folks are generating in the other thread.
If you have time to do the second book, or "a blessing in disguise" it'd be amazing.
Thanks for your work!

Working on the second book now and then, may be done in 2-3 days🤟

I've always wanted to see the Blondie books redone, but not like this. This AI engine quite frankly doesn't look capable of doing more than replacing Fraylim's outstanding 2-D illustrations with lifeless 3-D mannequins. It's like some the earlier AI attempts here where all the teenagers look like they're 35 years old and just got back from a wine tasting.

I do appreciate the effort and would probably love it if it were replacing, say, JSP's terribad images.

I don't know why people are so negative about JSP's images, I think the illustrations on a book like My Brother My Mother My Doll were great.

I agree that Fraylim's illustrations are the best, they can be very inconsistent though, even in Blondie's Lost Year some of the illustrations were pretty bad. A lot of Fraylim's illustrations are traced from photos as well.

I tried redone jsp illustrations but it just not work as good as freylim, cause style more cartoon in 3d it looks bad.

Are there any new works that combine text with illustrations? Or any authors in this style that you would recommend?
