Looking for Don Silver thread Toxic Attraction chapters

My opinion on *The Contact*: the beginning was promising, especially the stag/vixen dynamic, which is almost never used in this kind of story. Sure, it turned out to be Ray's trick to convince James, but it was still refreshing at first. The contact-switching plot had already been used by Antarctica77 in *The New Tenant*, but it's handled fairly well here.

I genuinely thought Jenna would remain a loving wife who always put her marriage and husband first, but apparently not...

In the end, it's just a classic cuckold story, heavily inspired by *NC* and *TA*. All the biggest clichés are there: Ray, the old, overweight, disgusting guy who just happens to have an enormous penis, is somehow also a technology expert and a master manipulator.

Then there's the husband, who of course has an average-sized penis and turns out to be a closet cuckold. A true stag storyline would have been a thousand times more interesting, but no. Naturally, he's a wimp who never says anything beyond "okay" and lets himself be humiliated by Ray and now by his own wife. The Chapter 5 scene, which seemed designed to rehabilitate Ray's image, was especially nauseating: Jenna doesn't support her husband at all and never even wonders how he feels. He lets his wife have unprotected sex with another man, yet doesn't even have the courage to ask for the same privilege himself, even when it's completely safe. Basically, he's just another version of Bill and Dan.

And finally, Jenna. Naturally, she's an unbelievably beautiful woman with a perfect body. At the beginning, she was a loving wife doing this for her husband, but ever since the pseudo-threesome with Ray and James, she has shown less and less respect for him (especially in Chapters 5 and 6). It's betrayal after betrayal. She denies her husband things she freely gives to her lover: no blowjobs (I checked—she hasn't given one to her husband since the very beginning of the story), no unprotected sex, and she even gives her anal virginity to someone else. She becomes less loving and increasingly dominant while showing little concern for her husband's mental state. She gradually turns into the most stereotypical character in the genre: the woman obsessed with a bigger penis.

Yes, the sex scenes are very well written, but the story itself is deeply disappointing. It feels like a blend of the most famous stories in the genre, with no real risks taken and nothing truly original.

It's the typical cuckold story designed to keep fans paying. It will inevitably become more and more extreme and degrading in order to continue selling chapters.
Yes is 2 easy for Ray. I dont think is a money story. Should be free. I think we will soon move from these stories. They are not deep enough.

* Thinking out laud *

I’ve read up to and including Chapter 5 and can confirm that the writing style and structure of the story are good and fluid. The events are vividly portrayed and feel real.
The style certainly gives hope for an exceptionally well-told, multi-chapter story that will captivate the reader.
I hope that, as the story unfolds, the main protagonist and husband James (young, handsome, successful in his career, sexually active) isn’t turned into a laughing stock, as was the case with *Dan - TA* or *Bill - NC*.
After all, the forums are full of such husbands and partners who have been reduced to laughing stocks by the authors of their respective stories!

On the other hand, it is my express wish that Jenna does not turn into Sarah, Grace or Amber.
That would be the beginning of the end for this story. It would then become just another run-of-the-mill cuckold story.
Another one along these lines would be superfluous and uninteresting!

I guess that means WifeyFetish is not going to continue But Why Him? in the story titled Peeping Neighbour

I wish people would stop using the pdf file format for stories. My eReader hates them, and getting good results when converting them is hell. One could argue that pdf files should only be used for print, not screen. If anyone has a good way of converting pdf to epub, please send me a pm. I realize this thread isn't the right place to discuss technical stuff.

How Far Is Too Far? is honestly the worst story of them all. The characters are all unlikeable. There was a small glimmer of hope during the trip when David slept with his secretary and then discovered the deception. But what follows is some of the worst writing I've ever seen, with Jia somehow managing to convince David to accept both her cheating and the tattoo—two things that are completely unbelievable.

The author is clearly determined to keep pushing things further and further (and openly admits it), while making David as weak and spineless as possible. Every cliché of the genre is present, but Jia is probably one of the cruelest wives and one of those who seems to love her husband the least.

We already know how this is going to end: with David turned into a complete dumb cuckold and total wimp, raising his wife's child with her lover. The sex scenes are mediocre at best and eventually become repetitive.

I'm hoping for a cliffhanger that finally works in David's favor, but that seems very unlikely.

I use calibre and have it configured to automatically convert any file I import into epub format.

Calibre settings:
  • Turn on auto-convert - Preferences - Adding Books - "Automatically convert added books to the preferred output format".
  • Set the preferred output format in Preferences - Behavior - "Preferred output format" and select epub from the drop-down list

I'm using Calibre, but didn't know there was an auto-convert feature. I'll check it out. I do find the resulting epub files lacking in quality though. Paragraphs are split, usually the last line, and words are occasionally concatenated. You also get vertical text sometimes. The file is still readable, but my perfectionist mind finds it annoying.

epub creation is messy because no one adheres the the standards. Add in the variations of different PDF creation software and the PDF standard that doesn't contain text (but vector art instructions that draws the letters) and you have a nightmare.

I scrape some stories into a database and find converting pdf to epub in calibre cleans up the underlying text. I then use the html files within the epub , scrape away the html tags and am usually left with decently clean formatted text. I find copying and pasting text straight from pdfs messes up line breaks and characters thanks to unicode ligatures. TLDR: calibre may not be good at making clean and easy to navigate and read epub files, but they do a good job of converting the text.

Read WifeyFetish's Getting the Grade. Starts off ok but is a bit rushed and there's too much sex, making the sex boring. Disappointing compared to Unsatisfied and Unforgettable Birthday. But Why Him was very good but I'm apprehensive about reaching the final chapter. The hinted ending would ruin the series for me.

Say no more
I don't understand why the authors make the husband so weak. In 5 chapters, the husband will turn gay. David will look at Tom's penis, say how big it is, and transfer the company to Tom's name, dress as a woman, and give Tom his ass. The authors are losing their way; the husband is also increasingly ridiculed in every way and environment. David is humiliated at home and at work. And the wife takes her husband for granted!!!! All that's missing is Alice not achieving the same; the husband has another woman but only gets off watching his wife having sex with another man and doesn't even realize it. The stories are repetitive, all the same clichés; all that's missing is for the husbands to become gay and change sex. In David's case, he'll give the company to his wife all because the man has a big penis. The story is ridiculous; the husband didn't even complain about being abandoned. And he barely thought about the secretary.
