...anyone else a bit disappointed with Betty's arc? it's been teased about for 9 months. Ever since the decoy/switcharoo, sneaking away, I had high expectation re what trouble she'll get into it. Through the snippets, I kept thinking it will pick up into something wild, but it's been disappointing.. especially compared to all of Grant's adventures on his search for his wife...

I personally think it does not fit the swingers setting anymore. It should be about consent. She now deliberately just goes off by herself during a party leaving her boyfriend behind.

not really sure that is the case. consent was freely given early on and it has been about free exploration. its been built about adventure, exploration, and what I thought was Betty's naughness, which hasnt lived up to expectations. Grant is not looking for her becuase of what they consented, he just wants to know where she is, having his own adventures on the way.
