...anyone else a bit disappointed with Betty's arc? it's been teased about for 9 months. Ever since the decoy/switcharoo, sneaking away, I had high expectation re what trouble she'll get into it. Through the snippets, I kept thinking it will pick up into something wild, but it's been disappointing.. especially compared to all of Grant's adventures on his search for his wife...

I personally think it does not fit the swingers setting anymore. It should be about consent. She now deliberately just goes off by herself during a party leaving her boyfriend behind.

not really sure that is the case. consent was freely given early on and it has been about free exploration. its been built about adventure, exploration, and what I thought was Betty's naughness, which hasnt lived up to expectations. Grant is not looking for her becuase of what they consented, he just wants to know where she is, having his own adventures on the way.

I believe it should have been be a mutual experience. Isnā€™t that how the story started? Not even once she mentioned Grant. She just basically left him. The situations are great visually but I feel the story deviated away from exploring together to actively searching for something for herself.

But itā€™s probably the author that hasnā€™t been focusing on the story or character interactions anymore. Itā€™s just illustrated porn scenes for some time now.

When Betty met the Master, Grant should have also found her there. Right before the master started doing his thing. That would have been the start for a new kink. Something Grant already was experiencing. Watching en being told what to do. Perhaps more into cuckolding/hotwife

But then again, Iā€™m checking out the pages here for free and gave up my patreon membership because of this lack of storytelling..
I did buy the books, and thatā€™s where it ends for me ā˜ŗļø
