I'm fully aware of Rory hatred since the beginning and that peaked in chapter 10 for obvious reasons but nevertheless he's still needed in the story as the cocky entitled villain and what better way to keep that trend than fixating his interest on Kelly who grabbed his attention in the bar so that would be the perfect reason to bring him back again and knowing the fact he's still butthurt about the bj contest, if he managed to convinced Brandi after being such a piece of shit with her well he absolutely has a shot with Kelly.

Now that Dylan gave his blessing to Brandi I don't see the problem if Rory approach her again because the NTR aspect is over and now both Rory and Brandi are in good terms with some tension involved because of Dylan, PS used him in the wrong way along with Brandi everyone knows that but that doesn't mean he should be rejected forever that's nonsense, he has the perfect stereotype punchable face to keep being the villain problem is you underestimate his potential.
