probably Melissa is using Kpop Idol to try to alleviate the problems she is having with Aphrodite mirror, at first it was posted every week, then she started posting another story interspersing the stories, now she is using Kpop to intersperse with Aphrodite mirror.

Trying to make suspense thriller, and I must say she is doing great for suspense thriller (A.M) but she forgot, she is writing/creating Gender BENDER PORN comic, not murder mystery!
Now , she is trying to manipulate viewers mind to REALES K-Pop , diverting the thoughts of viewers, she don't want to give us time to criticize about A.M , .....

I think Mirror is just a classic case of buying off more than she could chew. It started off as a simple comic with a simple premise and should have stayed there but then she kept getting ideas and then going down all these different plots and paths when she never needed to. I blame patreon for that because she knew she could take her time and just freestyle it.TRUE! .... She knew she messed up ...

Before she knew it she had all this shit going on and now she has to try and tie it all up and it's just a freaking mess. Had she just wrote a script and made a comic this could have been over almost 6 months ago but now where we are no where near a conclusion with a super convoluted story that has more plot holes than than a M. Knight shamalan movie and there is no way this will have a satisfying conclusion.
Don't even get me started on Kpop idol.... She literally wrote a great story for it... All she had to do what follow that and make art for it... Heck she even could have just re wrote the story since her English is drastically better than it was and just created new art. What ever the heck is going on with that is just terrible... It's not even close to the same story. She shouldn't even call it Kpop idol.

I miss tug of war style narratives from her. it was insanely long but that level of slow transformation was much more compelling than these mystery box style projects.

I agree with you, the tug of war story was very interesting with its sequence in the transformation of a boy into a girl, and Melissa once commented that she was using old stories to inspire new stories, it may be that Aphrodite's mirror is not an exception, in the beginning she was doing very well, but when she started creating a lot of content for the story she had to be inspired by some stories, maybe she was unhappy in choosing her stories, to be inspired,

I don't think it's that deep at all I think she just started with a great idea and since patreon model let's you just post unfinished work she serialized it. And as she went along she got more ideas. Which lead to more and more ideas. And here we are. She is a creative artist at the end of the day so she just got too creative and now it's just a mess.
I equate Aphrodite's Mirror to going into a full service deli when all you want is a Ham and cheese but instead you leave with an Italian sub with a bunch of extra condiments that just turn a simple sandwich into an abomination.

Sometimes the simple makes the difference, Melissa could have focused on one or two points, but she decided to focus on many, and to resolve this she started creating gaps in time, to resolve some points. and ending others with some poorly resolved flashbacks.

Melissa should go back to writing stories like Tuf of War, A Different Kind of Model, Thatās a Job for a Milf, The Russian Girl/ Joe Six Pack, Need for Speed...
These were the best stories, where she focused more on the narrative than on the images themselves, and it's worth saying, the images in these books are great.

incredible as it may seem, but it's true, Melissa's old stories are better, her narratives in the texts were impeccable, her graphics are incredible, in Aphrodite mirror she didn't fail in the graphics and created great characters, but she failed in the development of the story.

I said it last year. She wrote herself into a corner with mirror and I don't think she knows how to get out of it. I have no idea where mirror is heading any more and it feels like Melissa doesn't either so she is just winging it. This should have ended about 6 months ago
