It's still incest, not as taboo but still incest... I usually don't like aunt/nephew when the aunt has a son, that's why when this comic started, I commented (back on 8muses) "oh no, male cousin... danger danger!" because at some point there was going to be a conflict between them and we are very close to that, also when the cousin is male, it feels more like a betrayal, that's how Aaron must feel now, his "bro" is fucking his mom, really makes David a little less likeable.
