I was just looking for some of 'Blake Barkley's books because Goodreads recommended him based on some of my shelves. Now that I know he's a plagiarist, do you know his favorite target so I can get it from the original author? Also I remember running across that plagiarist thread on 8 muses...

Nowadays aren't they all short for the price. Most of the stories today cost more than a cup of coffee and can be read in less time than it takes to drink said cup.

Are any of these any good? I've tried four (two in the past, and two recently) and the only thing that impressed me was they were short and were off the supposed topic.

Calibre is a wonderful library manager. You can set up multiple libraries with it for different genre's and it allows you convert to/from many different formats. The real issues I have with it is that sometimes it truncates the file names and every cover is titled 'cover.jpg' - both kinda...

It was brutal chopping down a message to 420 without a clue how far I had to go. I ended up putting it into word several times thinking I'd cut more than enough only to get the oops again and again.

Still missing the old file name method - I find myself having to immediately change the filename once downloaded to add the author's name to it so I can sort them out when I have time later.

I can't believe it - the Grace Mansfield thread does indeed appear to be gone. There were over 200 books there - and that was after eliminating the single titles reprinted in the anthologies. I guess unreferenced threads are fused for deletion?
