I have no idea what his work system is (although I'm completely convinced he uses templates to do so many drawings in a short time, which isn't bad, but anyone who thinks he draws them from scratch must be very naive). When I was a subscriber, I liked his style, but when he decides on a theme, he doesn't let go, and he also tends to make a lot some characters that I think are pretty ugly instead of new ones. Apparently, there's a kind of mafia of fans of certain characters who ask him for them even without any requirements, so he puts in even less effort!
What I do know is that in one way or another, he checks this forum and others to see who's leaking or criticizing his work. Proof of this is that a while ago, a user with the same name contacted me because he was having problems. It was quite absurd, but oh well, lol.

I won't be shocked if he uses ai to make those templates

They do "realist looking 3D". No 2D artist is affected by this. Andava would be the very first.

What can i say? Maybe he deleted or hide his post by himself? But i also never heard that any 2D artist was affected by the changes on baraag.
He also post his artwork on another forum. Sometimes even variants not seen here.

I was able to see his art a few weeks ago without an account. You really got to give me more credit than that, man. And like I said, all the other artists I follow don't have this issue.

How likely is this to be true? I mean, if people are complaining that his output is getting repetitive, would ideas posted here actually make it through into his work?
On the one hand you've got, "Hey, they're stealing my stuff by pirating my images, so it's only fair that I steal their stuff by using their ideas!"
And on the other hand, there's "No, they're pirates & not paying me. Why the fuck should I do what they want?"

I guess there's no real harm in making a list of suggestions, though.

It must be intended more as a joke--either that these guys are really stupid enough to believe that the card is legitimate, or that they can see that it's fake but they're content to be able to claim plausible deniability. Certainly no reasonable person would believe that any Lilandy character (or even some of the younger-looking Andava characters, like Ester or Darcy) was 18+ years old.

The less obvious signs that the card is fake include: According to Google Maps, the town of Hayden, CA doesn't exist (it's not even a ghost town, there's literally nothing there), and the ZIP code listed on her ID is 6 digits long, instead of 5. There are no streets at all in Hayden, let alone one that's 5,215 blocks long, as suggested by the street address.

High school freshmen are usually 14 / 15, and then it goes sophomores -> juniors -> seniors, who are mostly 17 or 18. So, yes, it's quite possible that Darcy is an 18-year-old senior, but she looks significantly younger than people like Erica, Ixtaro, Liam, Cassie, etc. Or consider Ester, who's a young, cute, spunky, high school cheerleader . . . and her official height is only 4'9" (145 cm). Yeah, that could be her full adult height, but doesn't it sound a lot more like a 16-year-old sophomore?

IMO, Andava's "I only depict characters to be 18+" is meant to be taken with a healthy dose of "nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more", and Lily's perfectly legit driver's license is an extension of that.

You forgot that her ID expired the exact same day she was born but then was issued 26 years later so its not a valid ID and was never valid. I mean it is almost definitely a joke about how stupid those guys are (if Andava was a more meme focused artist he probably could have done the drawn in ID from Papers Please). As far as the other older characters go out of universe we all know why every artist says their characters are 18+, I have my problems with Andava but I would put all that aside if it meant telling the censors and payment providers like Visa and Mastercard to go fuck themselves. And in universe, well way back (right before the new line of characters like Cassie came out if I recall correctly) he did draw Ester wearing a cap and gown so at the very least Ester might be a college student and legal, assuming he has actually committed to aging these characters up.

And as far as his work getting repetitive if he's going the same route that rule34 "pinup" artists (there are a million of these guys I can list) have I can 100% promise it will become lazy copy paste repetitive work that caters only to the masses. A million and one images of the same fucking characters across every artist, I hope you like LoL's Ahri and Overwatch's Widowmaker because that's all you get. Pinup artist absolutely do it as a job and not a hobby or passion so they follow the money and the money is always the same generic bimbos, if Andava goes the same route no way he will ever take suggestions from us, and personally I don't want him to take suggestions from us or anyone, just draw what he wants.
