In "Am I Good Enough For You?" news, there's just been a very confusing drop of
sixteen "pages", far more than the 4 I was expecting. Along with the pages that finish out the sketches, there's also a Darcy apperance (a bit different from the one I was expecting, but I'll take it) that spans
multiple pages and looks like it might be interspersed with the rest of the comic, and some troublesome
alternate versions of existing pages (some altered text, the front door of the Journalism classroom is different, etc.). And, of course, no page numbers to help out.
I've updated the main AIGEFY compilation,
here, with the last of the "normal" pages shown in the preliminary sketches, as well as what's likely the very last page of the comic (apart from the usual character sketch pages, fanart, and author remarks). I'll need some time to figure out where the new Darcy pages should best be placed, and then I have to decide which of the "duplicate" pages should be considered canon . . . probably the
new ones, as they represent Andava's "corrections".
The Darcy "twist" isn't much, it's just 3 pages of her phone ringing and waking her up from her fever dream, referencing a much older Darcy artwork of her sick in bed. I had been
expecting her to burst into the Valley Vanguard and catch Cassie & Alexis in the act, but apparently Andava wants to save that reveal for later . . . or just gloss over it entirely, in the same way that he keeps other details (deliberately?) vague.
Here are the duplicate pages, so you all can compare & contrast. The filenames that end in 'b' are the new ones.
