Decision on new site between the two currently listed?

I know this seems a bit odd but, currently there are two sites in line to be the successor to 8Muses:

Can someone please let all the people at F95Zone know which one is the one we are going with.

As right now there is a lot of confusion. And this needs to be done soon, so that we all do not splitter and many of us go to either one or the other.

Please either have a vote, poll or something to let everyone know, left a link to show everyone the current situation.

I don't know much about what's behind the scene and the resources available, so I can only say obvious things or be out of subject...

Key point is probably in your last paragraph.
Stable leadership and financing under control will be the key parts to make the project work on the long run.

Maybe take the choice with the longest track history... that may be a way to guess the organisation in place is already working.

Thinking about it, maybe let the community choose, and finally everyone seems to be heading here.
Even if the forum fails again, people are probably more resilient than we think, story will start again somewhere else.

I'm personally haven't any proplems with uploading content to 1-2-3 forums = backuping each other.
The best guarantee to avoid 8M collapse is to have NOT ONE but multiple places for comics+text.

Someone asked why am I so keen to have only one site, the answer is simple:

TO MAKE US WHOLE.

It is not fair for all of us to be splintered and issuing coming up where for example if someone posts some sections of The Stevenson's on one site and the rest on another. Not to mention the frustration of having to keep hopping back and forth from one site to the next, trying to find familiar members or friends.

While 8M was not great, what it did do is build us a community...and fu&ked-up community but a community.

I know people are sick of me repeating this over and over again. Hell, I just want to get back to life before last week but, it is not fair for us to have to do sooo much work, to enjoy something we like, and need for relaxation.

So again, I say this over and over again to both ALLPC and 21C, please work together and please MAKE US WHOLE, as we just want to get back to life prior the purge.

Success for both new forums depends on recruting most of the uploaders from 8M = if not in domain name (88Muses/888Muses etc.), at least at header/tag of the forum there better be (for couple of months) something like "new home for 8muses forum" etc. for easy searching.

Look, I can partly sympathize with your wish, but let's be realistic, while some folks on 8muses were there for the 'community' spirit, most of them were just there to leech comics. and not to socialize.
You can't 'force' (yeah, I know, it's a bit strong saying it like this) people to choose one or the other site, some will join both, some will end up at this one, some at the other, and some will just stick with F95.
The same goes for the artists who posted their own work on 8muses, it'll be their choice where they want to post, no amount of rallying will change that.
Some might decide to post at both places, others will simply go with this one or the other.

No matter how much you want to keep the old gang together, there's bound to be fragmentation. Only time will tell how things are going to develop, and we have little or no influence on that.
Folks will simply have their own preference, and there's little we can do about changing their opinion.

I personally know WTF happened. This started at F95 ... I was trying to get the District13 group set-up @ F95. It was a mess, so I complained to our overseeing Moderator (Ryahn) about the mess. He suggested (paraphasing) "what if I set up a new site where you could post, BUT don't mention anything in group ... keep it between us. Is there any other channels you can use without going through this site"? He mentioned names, then said 9Muses was already taken by a K-Pop group. I jokingly said ... "how about 16candles" (a reference to the John Hughes film. He contacts me again and says ... "16candles.xyz ... are you interested?" I didn't know this guy from Adam, nor did I trust him ... so I passed and stopped D.Ming-him.
So he is probably the guy behind this with others. I don't trust the guy ... he ousted our OP (Sam998) and co-opted the D13 group. Hey ... Ryahn? Good riddance.
I apologize for any conflicts I may have inadvertently caused.

Some people might have problems explaining emails or notifications coming up with "AllPorn" arriving on their screens.
And no you cant turn off the first email to confirm membership just the ones afterwards.

Your truth, I and presumably a lot of others have never visited D13, therefor we only get to read your version of what happened there.
Simply put, holding a grudge is one thing, publicly venting it here is another. That is something that does this forum no good.
And those screenshots are not related to that, also I don't see anything nefarious in them other than that he was trying to stay out of trouble with F95.

Also, I just went and looked at the District13/Nina thread.

Hello All,

based on the following questions I have asked @AllPC (Exo):

1. About Dofantasy/Fansadox and Erenisch stuff, not in terms of AI but, regular comics, are they ok?

2. Based on what you are saying AI will take time to sort, this means while no teens will ever be allowed, AI fan arts or comics will take time, before there is an ok.

3. Please let us know if you will be collaborating with or taking any of the ideas sent by others, I really think this will help with others trusting everyone, after what the owner did.

ALLPC has said Yes to ALL.

This means we can start posting Dofantasy/Fansadox and Erenisch stuff.

AI Images will take time, William1002 @BlankittyBlankBlank they are setting up a structure, if I hear anything different, I will let you know.

As for collaboration, they are doing it. @GapingAsshole9000, @ST-9pol, @itgbetweenmeandme, with your ideas, I would recommend posting any new ideas or suggestions like I did in these areas:

Let me answer even I have no influence on anything here. If I see naked children (especially in the AI version) it is obvious that it is prosecuted by the law, no matter what. You don't need to verify anything to know that it is illegal. If this is not a case, I think nobody see any problem

I don't think that's the most sensible thing to do, there's room for both sites to co-exist. Especially given what happened to 8muses I think it would be unwise to put all eggs in the single basket. The risk this will happen again is still very much real.
Especially given the fact that the folk(s) behind this site have a vested interrest in a revenue generating sister site. Just like at 8muses. Don't underestimate the power of advertisers.
