[horadriel] comics Collection

This is the repositorium for Auto1111 a few pics of the UI are included.
Also this could, be interesting:
It's an AI writing tool. For it you need models from huggingface https://huggingface.co/models.
And last but not least, this is the guide I used for installing Auto1111 https://stable-diffusion-art.com/install-windows/.
thanks for the tutorial, without that, I wouldn't have gotten far 😅. Stable diffusion works now and I am currently downloading models and Loras. It will probably take some getting used to, before I can confidantly post anything I've generated with it :D

No problem, take your time. On the long-term run it will save you some money.

Are you adjusting well with those tool ?
I am actually struggeling a bit with it. The pictures aren't awful, but I don't feel comfortable with making a full comic with them yet. Also it takes alot of patience for every single picture, because they take so long to be created. Them being free is definately cool. After some adjustments I may be able to do more.

A tip for faster generating. If you make right click on the .bat data you start Auto1111 with and open the .bat data with the editor (looks like a blue notebook), you will find the following;
set COMMANDLINE_ARGS=

copy and paste the following behind the =
--xformers --lowvram --upcast-sampling --update-all-extensions

This will lower gen time a lot.

On the Github page, in it's wiki, there are a lot of other useful COMMANDLINE_ARGS.

Hey I might point you in the direction of a contact on Civitai @joemamma5599 who is a real talented content creator whose work is posted here. I link his profile page because he has several tutorials on creating comics using these tools .

@Horadriel Did those command-lines help you reducing the time of generating images?

If you like, you could poste some of your test pictures you did with Auto1111

I did get a bit frustrated with my own inability to get Auto1111 to work, so I took a little pause in order to reevaluate :). I've written and released a new comic just now. That one was unfortunately made with NovelAI again, though 😅.

I'll post it here, in case you like it :)

Didn't want to seem pushy. As always, Horadriel, take your time and quite the interesting story.

It's really not easy.

It is normal to take time, we all understand that , you should also do not push yourself much, take it easy and one at a time, eventually you will master it in no time 😀 so take your time and take it easy, we all understand

By the way to all of you: as you might have noticed, Auto1111 wasn't updated since the end of last year. Meaning it doesn't support some of the newer models like SD3.5 or FLUX.
Yesterday I found an alternative to Auto1111. Called Stable Diffusion Forge.

In essence is it the same UI, same software architecture, everything is mostly the same. Only key difference is, it gets updated and supports new model types.
On Git there is an how to install. Running and updating is slightly different. Think I'll permanently switch to it.

you weren't :). Quite the opposite. Without you, I wouldn't have known how to even install it 🙈.
self-evident. We all like your art. To help you is the least in return.

Also I have to points I'd like to ask you Horadriel.

First if possible and if you still have them, I think most of the others would agree, it would be nice if you could also post the additional images that didn't make it into your comics.

Second, I think your comics need an nice cover page, with the title and an nice image, that for example gives an short summary of what will happen, like an mesh up or an dedicated image.

Only an suggestion, but think it would add up to them.
