Just finished chapter 6 of the contact and overall i think the series is written really well. With time spent on developing the three characters. So much so that i dont find myself rooting for the husband too much. he had the opportunity to come clean multiple times and chose not to. unfortunately, as stated in someone's earlier post no sympathy for the wife regardless what she thinks the husband wants she has gone down the path of first lie by omission and then lying outright. Sad to say i will expect chapter 7 will have her cheating on him again so now im left waiting for the truth to come out and see what happens. Note although the sex is well written and very descriptive i do find the author reusing the same expression or phrase multiple times which i find frustrating.

The majority of authors who tackle this subject in their works take this route after three or four chapters at the latest.
It begins with the wife concealing things, followed by deliberate lies and, finally, the humiliation, insults and kicks meted out by her husband.

Well, the none pathetic, won't roll over hubby is not a trivial modification. At this point in the development of the sub genre, would practically alter the definition of that whole kink. This is what I try to explain to guys who transparently project their own insecurities when they make the same complaint. They don't do it with the class , honesty and rational diplomacy you just demonstrated , they do it with some sort of beta bitch, passive aggressive entitlement. As if pretending they didn't read and understand the story tags or the disclaimer/caveats at the intro of the story (usually repeated at the beginning of each chapter!) and now 5 chapters in they want to start gas light crying about it 🤔🤔🤔🤣😂😂 Nah man, that person has forfeited not only their rights to complain but to even be treated with respect. That being said, short stories featuring the plot structure subversion of the wife gets caught by hubby or attempts to cuck hubby then hubby methodically dismantles/destroys the lives of the wife and her lover are fairly common on all the major platforms including Literotica. But not surprisingly it's always a single short story where we get right to the point where hubby finds out and the rest is his revenge. In other words, something about scratching that particular itch is so alien and unnatural that it paralyzes the writer from undertaking the effort to develop a long running epic with the same epic length, character development and slow burn escalation that the traditional form of that storyline inspires. That's one of the reasons, if not the significant reason for Vivian's Cuckold Consequences having such a high profile. It's a unicorn rare, possibly singular example of a writer subverting those tropes in long form.

That prolly the only story you'll find where the husband finally stands up after everything has went off the rails. I didn't really like how he stayed wife the wife even when she was pregnant. I know she lost the kid but it was implied that he would has stayed even if it had been born.

which version did you read , the one from amazon ? literotica ends with the child being his and Gwen at the front door or is there more availble ?
