I don't understand some situations, like the betrayals. I was reading other series (Corruption of a Geek Goddess Pt. 1 to 8, missing the ending in part 9). Why do authors make the husband so weak, even though the guy enjoys this strange side (there are some characters who create rules, a certain limit, together with their wives, and these are betrayed)? I hope that in the end Mark leaves Chelsea, and she lives her life, simple as that. Dylan should leave her because he doesn't love her, he just wanted to destroy her relationship. It's no wonder he gave her to Cody too. Just Chelsea rejecting Mark and not using her free pass on him was the end. Mark has to find another woman.

I completely agree!

Often, authors portray husbands as weak and unable to accept or come to terms with their role as a cuckold, which creates dynamics of betrayal, conflict, and unwanted dominance/submission... ultimately, these are rather unhealthy situations that lead the stories towards typical relationship dramas, rather than stories that simply explore the cuckold dynamic through fantasies that everyone dreams of...
