well this is starting to get interesting.

Hello everyone I’m new here and for a while I’ve been reading and admiring yalls commentary on this topic and have decided to join in on the fun. That be said I want to first by touching on the big elephant in the room that no one ignores and that is the path/style of this story.

What I’m talking about is the repetition and lack of plot development. Yes while I agree with the majority of the people on this forum on that don has fallen into a business mindset of “if it ain’t broken than don’t fix it” and so far it has worked. By way of his subscribers who more than willing to pay his patron subscription. Will he change, more than likely He will. Just look at the last chapter he released, there has been some character development and plot development as well.

Speaking about the last chapter to be released as I said the characters are more or less changing and the plot is advancing. The biggest change in a character has been Sarah (the protagonist) who went from being a loving wife and mother of two to a woman that willing to sacrifice her whole life just so she can satisfy her sexual desires. I would reckon that the biggest switch of her transformation into this new Sarah is in this chapter where he agrees to join Lester on this plot of revenge, this not only puts her closer to Lester but also she has gone from being the pawn to the chess player. We will have to see how it turns out for her. I’m surprised that a few of the recommendations that a few of yall put out here has come to fruition, it’s like don silver really listened to his audience for once, gasp!

Moving on the Lester side of things. Things are getting interesting for our troll like friend, because we starting that his controlling of Sarah is growing, but his own plot story is changing especially with cronos (AKA Irving ) on his trail.

Moving on to our other protagonist or more and more our supporting character Dan is growing as well, his business venture is starting to flourish with his recent success with sentinel and there maintains be a new love interest for him too.
Overall I believe that Don is starting to advance the story and the characters as well. I hope to see better things in the upcoming chapters of this erotic story.

Sarah is a caricature of a believable character at this point. All of the characters are. Rather than develop the characters and make them interesting, literally every single one has become one dimensional, one note cardboard cutouts.

As for the pregnancy thing, I've touched on this before. Early on, the idea that Sarah was unwittingly risking pregnancy was hot. Lester had lied about a vasectomy, it was obvious that he intended to trick Sarah and impregnate her. Okay, I get it.

We had the scene with >>FOUR<< sabotaged condoms (seriously) before Sarah agreed to let him finish bare. But only because she "knew" he was fixed.

Okay. Scene is set. Lester has come in her, it's only a matter of time until he knocks her up. Cool.

Except, wait. Sarah - who was described as being unprotected - is actually on the pill, haha. But don't worry, Lester the supergenius with unlimited connections is having fake birth control pills manufactured to replace them. Haha!

Except, Don seems to forget about this, telling us repeatedly how Sarah is risking pregnancy with bare sex with Lester (and others). To the point that it's pretty unbelievable that she isn't pregnant.

Oh, right. She was on the pill, she just had all of those internal thoughts about how risky it was, and how Lester being fixed was all that protected her. Because why not.

So now, the pill has come up again. And... fuck, I don't know.

Drag the pregnancy risk out for twenty-five chapters, change the rules around it multiple times, change her birth control status willy nilly. It's obvious that Don forgot (or didn't care) about this stuff.

It's just bad writing. I used to follow Don's patreon as a free member, even considered joining a paid level for a bit. Given how little consistency he gives to the story, how he's just painfully dragging it out for the obvious incentive of raking in more monthly patreon subscription fees, I'm so glad that I have chosen to just skim the crap when it gets leaked on Kemono or whatever. The story sucks now, has for a long time, but I have some perverse desire to see how it ends - even though I no longer even read along.

But, I understand some of the comments on how the story advanced. If we go back on this and/or other foruns we'll see from time to time someone saying he/she saw some progress. These comments usually come from new readers or DS cheerleaders (however, I think they're finally dying).

For me, for you, perhaps for many of us, who have read this story since the first chapter, many years ago (lmao), we have already seen the same nonsense. DS gives clues, new information, new characters that come from nowhere and go nowhere.

ex: We can see a lot of comments making assumptions about Lizzy. She appeared, I think, in a single chapter and never again! It was never explained who she really was (except from Lester), what her actual relationship with Lester was, or where she's gone to.
And every now and then, someone brings her back as a living character that could make a difference.

And finally, Lester showed up, again, naked to her mother too!!!!!????? lmaoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I believe that everything comes to an end eventually. For more than 20 chapters, we have observed that the author has been producing bullshit and had made money from it.
He has reached his peak and milked his cow dry!
The author ‘DS’ sees this too, because with the current status quo of TA, it can't go on any longer.
In my opinion, he began to incorporate a change of course in chapter 37 that lifts the story out of its slump and moves it forward.
Because that's the only way to keep ‘TA’ interesting.
