I had a hard time getting through this book. I enjoy dark, taboo themes, but cuckolding and humiliation aren't really my thing. The husband gets heavily gaslighted, and the wife acts like a total slut. I thought about quitting, but I was still too curious to see how the plot played out

I contacted the author about the reading order. On Lit. it is not numbered. So the answer:

What order to read Slipping into Depravity in. Okay, here goes:

The story of Kayley, Sam and Leroy exists on both Literotica and Patreon. We'll deal with Literotica first:

Slipping into Depravity - Chapters 1 through 24 - easy peasy. This is all in chronological order, and introduces Kayley and Sam, their flirting game, the bathroom encounter and fuck with Leroy at the Bar, fucking Derek, Leroy II, the dream sequence, Leroy III and the rolling threesome from bar bathroom, to Thai restaurant to Leroy's place, Kayley's seduction and the beginning of her glory hole addiction, the three of them going on a date, the date becoming a cuck session, the aftermaths of the cuck session, Kayley's anal seduction, Sam and Leroy getting together....

Basically, there were too many arcs and I was worried it was getting overwhelming for new readers. Who wants to start reading a story when its already thirty chapters in. So I decided to start putting Arcs up separately.

Kayley and Sam's Day Out - Is actually Slipping into Depravity, Chapters 25, 26, 27 and 28 - Essentially, the second cuck session is bearing down on them. Sam wants to organize a day of romance and adventure, kind of a horny holiday for them to reconnect, before the storm hits.

Cucked in a Restaurant - is Slipping into Depravity Chapter 29. It's actually the beginning of the Second Cuck Session, or the 'Savage Cuckolding' arc.

Save Cuckolding (1/4 to 4/4) is the next arc - it's Slipping into Depravity, Chapter 30, 31. 32, 33, so we're halfway through. The first two chapters are the most traumatic for Sam, the next chapter is Kayley's anal humiliation, and the last chapter is their climb down. Two more chapters to post.

There is a chapter 34 (not on Literotica), which features Leroy fucking a stripper, which kind of follows up. The restaurant, savage cuck, and the stripper are basically the six chapter Second Cuck session arc.

Spioler alert> Okay, now, here's a swerve!!! In Cucked in a Restaurant, we are introduced to a waiter named Colin, who Kayley uses to torture and humiliate Sam. She enjoys it so much and is so out of control that she fucks Colin in a storage room. The problem? Colin is married, and once he has post-nut clarity, he goes to pieces with remorse and guilt, and Kayley feels really bad and horrible. She realizes people aren't toys, and she can't just bring an innocent person in.
That doesn't stop her from proceeding to destroy Sam in the following cuck session. But there are consequences - Kayley is horrified and ashamed by what she did to Sam, but can't admit it to herself. She's ashamed of what she did to Colin. So she decides to make things right, so she can believe in herself as a good person. So she decides to go and see Colin and apologize to him.

And that leads to...

Kayley does Domination, 1 to 3, which is actually Slipping into Depravity, chapters 35, 36 and 37. Basically, her effort to be a good person goes horribly wrong.

Now, all this is on Patreon - except, horribly, it all goes up to 50 chapters. So there are currently 16 unread chapters not on Literotica.

BUt the good side is that the Patreon Chapters are arranged into a series of numbered collections, so you can actually keep track

I honestly don't even know where to begin with such a packed chapter.

The opening, with the secret finally being revealed, felt completely unnecessary. It serves no real purpose in the story. There was no emotional impact during the conversation, only more humiliation for James, especially with the infamous "10 seconds." It only reinforces James' role as a cuckold.

Then comes the blackmail scene, which further establishes Jenna's dominance.

One of the most important moments is the conversation between Ray and James. The promise of mutually assured destruction if Jenna ever discovers the original lie initially makes it seem like James is finally taking back a little control—but not at all. That original lie is supposed to be the cornerstone of the entire story, yet it's a very weak plot device. Even worse, Ray immediately manipulates James into letting him sleep with his wife by using that very excuse. Like the perfect cuck, James agrees almost instantly. His promise that the evening would be boring disappears in two seconds, proving once again how weak his character is.

Jenna also agrees far too quickly, but the worst part is the scene with Ray. Recording herself just to humiliate her husband is honestly disgusting. No genuinely loving wife would do something like that. At this point, the excuse that she's simply indulging her husband's fantasy no longer works.

What stands out even more is the chemistry she has with Ray, which is far stronger than anything she shares with her own husband. She gives everything to this disgusting pig while constantly denying her husband the same affection.

Then comes the ultimate betrayal: letting Ray have unprotected sex with her, but especially everything she says afterward. It's betrayal upon betrayal. Talking about breeding after promising otherwise, letting him finish inside her, then lying to her husband about it.

Jenna has become a caricature, following the exact same trajectory as Sarah in TA. She no longer shows any genuine love for her husband. Everything revolves around Ray. There is no real intimacy or partnership left with James—only teasing and denial. She doesn't even feel genuine remorse for lying. She's simply looking for a way to manipulate James into accepting it later.

James is somehow even worse, on the same level as Dan. He's becoming more and more of a cuck and a complete wimp. Even after discovering the truth at the end of the chapter, I doubt he'll do anything about it because he's completely consumed by his cuckold fantasy. The moment he's aroused, he completely loses the ability to think rationally. His handling of the original lie is terrible—he's willing to risk losing his entire marriage just to satisfy a fantasy.

Ray is basically a slightly less cruel and manipulative version of Lester. There isn't much else to say about him. He's the walking cliché of the disgusting overweight pig who somehow happens to be a sex god.

The story itself isn't bad, but like so many hardcore cuckold stories, the author sacrifices the characters in favor of increasingly extreme content. The characters gradually become walking stereotypes. What stands out the most is the disappearance of love and genuine intimacy within the marriage, replaced by lies and betrayal, especially on Jenna's side.

The Contact feels like a blend of several hardcore cuckold stories such as TA and NC. The problem is that it inherits the exact same flaws that ultimately ruined those stories: a weak MC who lets his fantasy completely control him until he becomes a brainless wimp.

The FMC follows the same pattern. She starts as a wife deeply in love with her husband, only to become addicted to the oversized cock of the resident disgusting pig. She gradually loses all love for her husband and traps herself in a cycle of lies and betrayal. Eventually, she even begins to enjoy humiliating him.

And then there's the bully antagonist: an ugly, overweight slob who's somehow a literal sex god despite his physique. He's manipulative, charismatic, technologically savvy, always one step ahead, and everything works out perfectly for him. He never suffers any meaningful consequences.

Overall, I had a lot of hope for this story when I first saw the word stag. I was expecting something different—a strong MC who understands his fantasy but keeps it under control instead of turning into a pathetic wimp. In the end, it was just smoke and mirrors. It's simply another hardcore cuckold story like so many others.

There are supposedly going to be fifteen chapters. I expect things to become increasingly extreme, with the couple spiraling downward before a redemption arc at the very end.

yes the result is what we wanted but probably didn't deliver as hard as I would have liked, she was called out and then her life is quite sad and pathetic but she hasn't moved on. the advice from the ex was a nice touch maybe could have been explored further

I read final chapter of too far (Ch. 22).

It was short. But good, though cliche' (like in such type of stories, the fall/depravity/loss of love takes 95% of the words/space and final outcome/good things/realistic drama takes place in the smallest final chapter).

I was hoping we could see more conflicts, how they moved on (during those 3 years and especially starting few months after he confronts) and when her hate for everything started. Overall, I didn't hate the happy ending - The touch of still craving and feeding fantasy/desires though intelligently and carefull was nice. I also liked how he asked Jia to get help. Yes, she was mentally unhealthy and in a sad state. I don't know how and if someone mature and wise falls for such a big dick, but I am no expert. It was sad seeing her that way though some of it tickled my need for seeing revenge done to bad people. A mixed feeling.
