Mirror was such a promising story, with a great beginning and story arch but now with every twist and turn it's taken it feels more like a mystery novel and not the original story it started out as.
I was invested in the characters at the start. I knew them by name even when a character was talked about who wasn't in the story panel. But just like Coracal422 said about the latest chapter, When Elena says, "YOU!"
I had no idea who that even was and had to look back.
The story definitely could and should have been wrapped up at least 8 chapters ago.

I mean, I'm here for Elena's body, and the conspiracy plot was interesting and hooking in the beginning. But I think the main issue is that new characters keep coming in to join the conspiracy. It has gotten to a point where you can't know who is behind it all.

Was it Mr. Samaras? Was it Elena herself? Marina? That hairdresser in charge of the props? The daughters? The detectives? Now the damn accountant is behind it? What the hell is that about? It's just getting convoluted for the sake of being convoluted, it feels like there isn't any motivation anymore.

This update is the proof of that, it's just crumbs of what the story used to be.

Offcourse it is mystery, don't forget what Melissa mentioned, she was inspired from sir author conan doyel's mystery novels,

Honestly it doesn't feel like a mystery novel to me.
It just looks like a bunch of random things that are not fully explained to try and create mystery

But it's gotten tedious

That's exactly what I mean.

The mystery has to be there so the erotism can prevail. But we are just getting character, after character, after character. And Melissa leaves the rest of the other characters behind. It just becomes convoluted for the sake of being so.

About the only thing you cant fault is the artwork. The story has taken far longer than necessary though such as chapter 21. Then when Nikos is making love to Elena the sex scenes are interrupted by similar scenes from Marina and the detective. Then Joel has been gender changed for what reason? Why has Nikos gone cold? Why has Marina changed her appearance? Why has Elena been kidnapped?

See , put it simply, it is a gender change adult comic, right? ....... For make it better story, a proper story line is very important, and it should not be too complicated that it loose the Main essence of a gender change adult comic,

Story need to be simple yet attractive to Read for better enjoyment, that is all ,
If you try to put unnecessary force mystry because you have a knack for mystery novels when you were child then it will definitely lose the Main essence of the genre and become a torture for the readers , and that is currently happening.

Ditto, I too think the story had a great start and transformation. But now, Melissa just keeps adding unnecessary chapter after chapter with new characters just to drag it out, not to move the story along.

At this point the story needs to be wrapped up.

And don't get me wrong, I appreciate the effort. I've supported many artists stories through the years, before reading them on these forums, including Melissa.
IMO Mirror was a miss for me, and I can't say I'll be sorry when it's completed.

It is been ages, since i read a normal simple mc & his feminization journey,
Everyone is simp nowadays and accepted everything so easily,
I don't know why the more i read nowadays gender Bender comic, the more i missed those old Golden comics of Cblack , hollydun and others i forgot the names .

The job for a milf's was not that brainless, if I remember correctly, he was hypnotize and feminized but still remember what he was and get his revenge, if I am not mistaken, I read this long ago so i am not 100% sure of it

And the tug of war's mc was brainless but not simp, he chose it for himself for daddy issue so his stepmother took advantage of the situation, if I am not mistaken he knew he is act a girl

But after that , every mc become like gay .
They accepting it too easily . So they are not straight from the beginning

I agree with you but when a story is sooooo long it's impossible not to comment on my opinions lol

As for your point I agree, I most stories there is no struggle and for most that's fine because it's just a feminization story and you're not expecting a big plot or anything but with a story this long and complex then I expect much more

Yes, that is what I mean as well, when a story is more like a Novel , then you can expect many more ,.....

But when a short story 100-300 pages, it is better to go simple, not much complexity
