It never really made sense because a cheap hotel room would cost less than the transformation costs AND her family were stupid rich on top of that so hiding him away for a week was much much easier than turning him into a girl.
Then why did she start conditioning Destiny into liking men way before her parents and brother appeared on scene? There has to be a bigger picture to it. Perhaps Destiny deserved it, or perhaps Sara was just crazy. But those are the things I wanna know.
