i hope NOT!!!! AI is a curse, NOT a pillar! Everything looks the same with it! Scenes, characters, poses...! If you've seen one "AI comic," you've seen them all!
Look, the point isn’t that generated images always look the same. In reality, it depends on which model is being used. One model can be trained on a single specific body and face, while another can be trained on a dataset with many different bodies and faces. That alone makes the results different.
Then comes the precision of the prompt. If you carefully specify the face, body, clothing, pose, environment, and how all these elements interact, the output will be much more individual. If the description is vague, the model fills in the gaps with its own variations, and the image changes.
The real issue is that a lazy or uninterested author doesn’t bother with the prompt and just makes a lot of generalizations. That’s why generation often follows similar patterns. But if you actually take the time to write everything out in detail, you can get very unique results that don’t look like anything else. It’s like with a camera: one person uses different lenses and manual settings, while another just switches on the pre-programmed functions or the ā€œautoā€ mode and shoots the way the camera is set up, not the way they see.
And only after that it’s worth mentioning that even with identical prompts, the results won’t be identical, because the generation process always includes some randomness. That’s a secondary factor, but it still adds variety.
So, generated images are not stamps — they are created anew each time, and their appearance depends on the model, the training data, the precision of the description, and the randomness of the process.

A new part of best friend is out today - can anyone put up Mirror from last week?

If you change ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING about a person, then it was COMPLETELY POINTLESS to choose a specific person!

This Bitch could have scraped anyone off the street, and it wouldn't have made ANY difference!
Apparently it's because of his dwarfism, because how can a grown European guy be just a little shorter than an Asian woman? But I already wrote that the very core of this story doesn't add up—and really, why?! In Korea, girls are willing to line up by the thousands to become idols. He doesn't have the kind of super voice or super choreography that would be needed in some extraordinary project. Why all this fuss with the language, the possibility of screwing up traditions, the need to learn K-pop from scratch? Even if the mafia specifically commissioned a trans singer, there would be just as many Korean guys ready for it as girls. It's not like every trans storyline needs a strict reason for feminization; a random guy accidentally caught in the millstones of perversion is a plot in itself, but not in this case, when there's so much fuss around the scene.

I forgot to mention the exaggerated overdramatic facial expressions! I've seen many AI comics, and they all had one thing in common: even when you try to generate what is supposedly the hottest sex scene ever with AI, it looks as lifeless as a white wall, completely devoid of any soul! You're talking about the 1% who try to put in the effort; I'm talking about the 99% who just copy-paste and click generate!

Even those who try hard fail to breathe life into the final result!:/

You've actually raised an interesting philosophical issue (as strange as it may sound in relation to trans porn). Where is the line where "transformation" becomes "replacement"?

- I've written a couple of times in this forum thread that, personally, most stories lose me somewhere around the first third, where the complete transformation occurs and the rest of the plot unfolds with a shy nymphomaniac who bears no relation to the original character. For example, like in "A (Not So) Temporary Roommate," where by the middle of the story such radical personality changes can only be attributed to hard drugs.

- Similar frustrations are caused by stories like "Pick up an alien/magical object and in a few frames turn into a dumb, lustful blonde" (a common trope of Telsis) or "Walk into an abandoned house, which turns out to be the hideout of a witch who, with a snap of her fingers, turns you into a submissive, busty maid." Well, if the character had been blown to bits at that moment, and a chick from another reality had been teleported in their place, the situation wouldn't have changed. (It's a different matter if, with a snap of your fingers, you find yourself trapped in the body of a busty maid, but that's another story, the kind Kannel loves (and doesn't like to end)).

- Hypnosis, magic pills, cybernetic programming—90% of the time, I find them equally captivating. It's interesting when there's an element of loss of control and some kind of internal struggle and mental turmoil are voiced. But more often than not, this happens as a crude abbreviation of the narrative and is barely distinguishable from the instantaneous transformation. (LilTKit, surprisingly, has both options in her stories.)

But, on the other hand, if there aren't radical changes, then what's the point? These fundamental personality transformations are what we read these stories for. It's unlikely that anyone will be drawn to a character portrayed as a simple man who doesn't take care of himself, is ready to stand up for himself, and rudely flirts with girls, but somehow in the form of a busty bimbo. In my opinion, NovelChef and ds1000 do this best – their characters, at each stage of their transformation, are aware of themselves and their situation, forced to act based on the situation they find themselves in, gradually transforming into a different person. But at the same time, we can trace this unified line of how and why the guy from the first scene became the girl in the last, and why exactly this girl. This is unlike Need for Speed, where literally in one scene the hero suddenly decides he wants to suck dicks, or Latina in Needs, where from the moment he dresses up as a maid, the hero begins acting like a teenage girl.

I agree that in recent works Novelchef did great in showing pressure points or loss of control to the mc or mcs (plural), that leads the characters to accept gradually new conditions . Esepcially in Certifiably Cooked... where Kyle and Burt repeatedly try to fight the situation, but repeatedly with the wrong outcome...

But if I try to compare his more recent works to older works like Playing for Keeps, you can clearly see, that Novelchef (and other storytellers) somehow became better at finding more plausible scenarios over time.
Finally its not only "Character was always a slut inside" or "chraracter accepts readily his forced situation" as main plot anymore...

Same I noticed with Melissas work over time...

As you already said, I have nothing against radical transformations, but a muscular womanizer should resist becoming a submissive Maid UNTIL THE BITTER END!

If even a macho man can be twisted into his absolute opposite almost without resistance, then one might as well take an ongoing trans woman "in need of kidnapping", to save time and effort!

Finally is it really ending or will there be another twist? ha ha I still don't get that the uncle is innocent at all? but I am glad it is endign while I am still alive ha ha

I have to say all the Seferi avoiding the uncle's murderer and regrets after planing decades of revenges is a lame stupid way of ending the story.

Well, it seems it's finally getting to an end. At last. I wonder if Melissa is doing something else after this, or if she's gonna stick with just K-Pop and Bestie for a while.
It's close to ending but it will take more time due to monthly release. It will end probably mid year next year. Maybe chapter 30 will be the epilogue.

If I remember correctly Melissa said that it's gonna be a 30 chapter story, but you never know how many parts a chapter may have.
Or after chapter 30, Aphrodite's Mirror Shippuden Chapter 01 begins

The only plot twist I can imagine is that Andrew, being a method actor, became so immersed in Elena's performance that he's lost all sense of reality, to the point of forgetting that everything happening is actually part of the production of a film he's working on. But who knows, at this point in the story I don't know what to expect anymore, lol.

The craziest part of the new release is they mentioned Joel and they're wondering what happened to him. If the story will be extended by another plot based from Joel, I will be very pissed. This should ended a long time ago and just being extended by making it a monthly release.

If this is truly the end of Aphrodite Mirror, it ended up being a bit cheesy, as they say, just another one of Melissa's stories. And speaking of stories, from what I've read, in my opinion, it's clear that Marina never loved Andrew and waited for the opportunity to get rid of him. And seriously, an apology letter? How ridiculous. The right thing would have been for them to meet in person and for her to confess her mistakes to him, but it seems there's still time for them to meet, because if I remember correctly, Joel spoke of revenge, and he might be at the wedding; pay attention to the blonde sitting there.

Does anyone here know who the man and woman in this flashback is supposed to be?

I'm only asking because it looks like the story is getting to the end, and it looks like these two people are involved in Elena's transformation, but I don't know if Melissa is going to reveal who they are.

I hope Joel does come back before the end, because if after dedicating a whole chapter to his transformation for some sort of glad plan we end up just getting some vague response to his fate then that's really disappointing.

i thinks that Melissa will focus on K-Pop Idol & Bestie but between the new parts, Melissa will post some short stories or maybe another short story will become longer

i think that in 1-2 years Melissa will start another long story and it may be another with the Age Progression theme
exactly how i thought it would go

Elena having a Mother-Daughters moment with Eva & Sofia where they deep their relationship to the point of finally becoming a real family

then the other part went exactly as i thought it would, with Marina looking from afar Elena's Wedding to her Uncle wishing her ex-husband a happy life, even thought i was expecting:

Elena read the letter and when she was about to walk the aisle, Marina walk past her but even though she was unrecognizable now, i could see Elena recognize her but they wouldn't speak with each other, letting Marina walk away from her life, forever this time. than when Elena was called because it was time, Elena would thinks something like "yes, i'm happy now, goodbye Marina/Dear Niece"

i thinks that Angeliki has a worse kind of destiny for her ex-Boyfriend Joel, possibly becoming the Bimbo Trophy of a Old Rich Man
maybe we will see Joel at the Wedding
