THE SHOPLIFTER part 1
Mark is eighteen, shy, soft, and the proud manager of a quiet neighborhood supermarket. He has never been kissed. He has never gone out. The aisles are the only place that feels like his. Then jamie starts coming in. The rising model. Magazine face. Body that looks illegal under fluorescent lights. First with his stunning girlfriend. Later alone — mesh tops, leather, shorts so short they barely exist. Mark tells himself he isn’t gay. His hands still shake on the shelves. At night he opens the magazine and takes what the store won’t give him. One afternoon jamies pretty fingers close around an old woman’s wallet. Mark sees everything. What happens behind the STAFF ONLY door is not a warning. It is a choice. Police… or the office.

THE SHOPLIFTER part 2
Mark had both of them in the pub, and neither of them knew what the other had already given him. Alice wanted the job and smiled for it. Jamie still thought that was all she was doing. THE SHOPLIFTER part 3
He's a model. He's broke. And he just stole a wallet in the wrong shop.
Mark caught him red-handed — and Mark has wanted him for months.
The deal is simple: the police, or one month playing his girlfriend.
Dressed like a woman. In public. In private too.
Jamie says yes. He thinks it's a month.
Then the club, and a man called Lucien, show him what he really signed for.
Because Lucien doesn't buy boys. He collects them.
And business is good.

THE SHOPLIFTER part 4
Two femboys, Lumu and Kane, waiting to be called. A mirror ringed with hot bulbs, make-up on the counter, cables across the floor. They dream of the big rooms and the proper stages, and for now they get small halls and half-full ones.
Every town, the same faces at the front. The same old men who come back night after night and don't come only for the singing. The boys give them a wink, a wave, a hand on the shoulder - and the old men take it home.
One of them has been to every single show. Nobody has noticed him yet.
