Why would you not upload them all is it because of what happened to kitty sam or worse or is it because it will take too long

I don't think there is, Mammaria's upload of "Substitute Perspectives" unpacked without problem in my system. It's not encrypted at all.
Possible sources of your troubles:
- Files damaged during download: just redownload them. Note that all but the last file should have the same size.
- Missing files: you have to download all 24 files before attempting to unpack them.
- Old version of UnRAR: if your unpacking utility is a bit old, it may not have been updated to the RAR5 format.
