Ugh 2023 Kindle and Calibre

Okay finally got around to installing the older version of Kindle app for Windows, Calibre and the DeDrm plugin. Easily converted first book. But the second one didn't automatically get downloaded. Double clicking on the ebook in the kindle app produces the error "Your Kindle app requires an update to view this content...". There doesn't appear to be an easy way around it. Anybody got a suggestion?

Have you tried NoDrm?

I use the current Kindle, and Kindle DRM Remover from https://www.ebook-converter.com - so far, it hasn't failed to remove Drm from over 400 authors and 16,000 eBooks from KU. (Pretty much everything I've uploaded to this site!)
