How about this from Housewife Secret?

HWS-G1.gif

Still in the workshop but with great progress so it will be available soon ;)

So just a question maybe for discussion away from the usual video. I was in the middle of editing an episode from one of my series. Its been a while since I dropped something but..spent the past few months retooling and moving to Davinci Resolve. Anyways...

As I was going through a sex scene spending hours trying to find the right music to go with the scene it had me wondering...what are your preferences for how a video is composed or put together. No, I don't mean if you like Big titty milfs are something like that...I talking about pure composition. What are things video makers do that you are like "WHy the fuck did you do that" or "Yes keep doing that?"

A 3D-VAM animator who has a little bit more on the ball than most of the other vapid VAM artists out there ... at least he TRIES to tell a story, in the vein of
the stories District13 tells. He could improve with some judicious editing, but overall, a fairly decent tale, if somewhat overlong: Fyronyx_Private Training ...

I feel this is one of the better videos from 3D-VaM artist. That said I do feel the way many of these artist caricature the male actor...is well...annoying, but another rant another day.

The video tried to go with a more realistic porn vibe, but it threw me off when the guy showed up in a fucking thong. Like why? What the fuck is that about? Some Gym shorts showing his bulge would have been better in my opinion. Just think in the scene on the bench press his dick can fall out the side of the shorts. I mean geez VaM allows for better manipulation of clothing and people still go the lazy route. In addition pulling her shorts aside, lifting her top and him pulling his shorts down would have been a hotter fuck scene then just them butt ass naked in the middle of the gym. 😂 Ass naked sex is a more sensual vibe compared to that of the pseudo undressed nature...of just getting your rocks off by some rando dude. Funny as this is the composition stuff I am curious about in my question above...maybe I am just being hyper critical and expect people to be better.

Anyways still a decent scene compared to some of the low composition quality VaM stuff I tend to see.

I feel your pain bro, the same thing happens to me, there are times when I spend hours looking for the right music for a scene and what I have in mind does not match what I hear and even less with their copyright law. I'm looking for no copyright music and it seems that all the music is made by the same guy, since it's repetitive and not at all attractive.

Regarding the composition of a scene, the most important thing for me is to create the atmosphere of a scene with sounds that enrich it. It could be music that can be heard in the distance, perhaps the sound of soft rain, the blades of a fan, etc. Sometimes the most casual scenes are the ones that have the greatest impact on the viewer. It just happened to me with chapter 4 of Exchange Student, a random scene was the one that caught my attention the most and it wasn't even a sex scene, I thought of putting the protagonist lying face down while holding her smartphone receiving a call from her husband while lightly swinging her feet and playing very soft relaxing music in the background. So, a simple scene without much plot but it stayed in the memory of several of my viewers so it's not so much about racking your brains looking for the best piece of music but rather the spontaneity and simplicity, I think.

PS: I don't know if the question was for me but I liked the topic :giggle:

Music is one of those thing that you either do it right or do not do it at all. I have an envato elements subscription so I tend to get many of my audio fx and sometimes music from there. I would say anyone doing this to just stay away from "Cinematic" music. It never flows well. Funk music usually works well for scenes and these days you kind find some more modern stuff.

I agree, I do think the stuff that is not the actual sex is more important than the actual sex scene. And when it is not there it screams cringe at least for me.

One example is this "The Librarian" video by Dakoassman: https://rule34video.com/video/3717325/the-librarian/

Now you can tell maybe just maybe someone told him to tell better stories but the intro is pretty weak and then here comes the sex scene. My issue with stuff like this is the fact it tries to give some semblance of story telling about there is no rhyme or reason on why what is happening in the screen is happening. Dude walked into a Library...she had a fat ass...lets fuck.

WTF?

I mean even regular old porn has better plots than this. I just feel a lot of these content creators are going down that same path. I don't know but it is the reason why I started the discussion...just to see do people actually like this kind of thing?

Does anyone have the link?

Does anyone have the video "orihimeswimminglesson" by Randux? I have been thinking about it all day. I would appreciate it :)

I definitely don't like the pseudo stories of the guy who arrives at a friend's house, sees his wife with a big ass and fucks her!! WTF!! o_O How? Why or what? Just because he's black and has a big dick, the housewife immediately falls for him and gives him her ass? !! WTF!! o_O I definitely don't like that (n) :cautious:

All it's possible with story

Music is a definite problematic choice for a video. Most HMV/PMV's are just 3-5 minutes, trying to sync the action to the rhythm. For the most part, it can be
more than a little annoying ... but sometimes it works ... depending on the editor's skill. Case in point; District13's [Nini] choice of songs for the bar scenes in Billiards were actually quite fitting for the scenes ... unfortunately, she completely overused the songs, probably due to either copyright issues, or lack of "resources", But yes, music can either enhance, or completely ruin the flow of a scene. Trickier with sex scenes, too. Is it better to play the scene with the music
up front ... BGM ... or no music whatsoever?

Yep ... that is why I gave up on Dako ... there is nothing to this, like many of his videos ... not even the semblance of a plot: "I need a book, go to the library, then easily fuck the librarian." Where is the give and take? Saying the "plot" is paper-thin, is insulting to paper. Hate to say it, this whacking material could've been told in less the two minutes ... probably less than one.
Don't know why I even scanned the video ... nothings changed with the guy ... the same old dribble ... and he has subscribers ... outrageous!

I personally like music in the background....but it takes me forever to choose the right one and I often have different things playing just to see how it fits. the vibe of the scene. Is it romantic, is it edgy, is it sneaky....the wrong music will totally throw this off. Sometimes when I find a good song I make the music is the focus point because the music kind of explains what is happening in the scene and moves the story a long.

If there is no music then IMO people really need to up the sound effects. Environment sounds are helpful even the low drone of a quiet room adds a lot to a scene and you can find these on Youtube fairly easily. Then there are the "Porn Sounds". I personally prefer porn dubs....but I choose these carefully and do a shit ton of editing to ensure it flows with the scene. I also add plaps, claps, and squelches for good effect...which will you gotta do one clap at a time...LOL. IMO if you do a good job of layering the sound it comes out well. Unfortunately people just find some random thing on PornHub and use it for sound which is just lazy at best. I do think VaM has tools to handle sound better...like the claps and plaps but I could be mistaken.

:ROFLMAO: Amazing! I add background ambient room "noise" in scenes ... sometimes a slight echo effect, maybe a low volume "hum", AC, etc. ... just something to add another layer of depth to a scene. When is it ever totally quiet in an urban or suburban environment?

I asked and was given the permission to post one of Ocici's "longer" stories (12 min). It's an interesting tale that starts off fast, then the plot slowly opens up.
It's was one of his first attempts at an actual plot heavier story. Not Steinbeck ... but I liked it. This is why I don't bundle him in with DakoAssMan, tho' the technique is similar looking. One thing about VAM, tho' ... the males usually aren't all that great looking ... ghost in the machine, maybe?
Oh yeah ... there's an overly buxom MILF in the center of the action. Special thanks to Ocici! Hope you guys enjoy it:

Ok I get we all have opinions....LOL but this was Mehhhhhhh...and I honestly not much better than the AssMan

First 4 minutes into the video I have no clue what this is about, and the cut back and fourth between the same looped back shots and whatever is going on in the office was distracting. The banter they were having while having sex was....well odd. The fact that I watched the same exact 5 second looped sex scene at different angles for a good 3 minutes is a crime. No change up in animation, facial expressions, neck movement....nothing...just the same damn loop. This could of been 30 seconds.

The second animation another 5 second looper was only about a minute this time and in my opinion should have been the intro to the actual sex scene. However just my opinion. Again animation was basic at best with no change up or anything. The plot opens up...finally almost halfway into the damn video. Great. Then we get another 5 second looper of a riding animation for about a minute. Then an office scene with another 5 second Looper...you get my point.

If I was to put this together I would have started with the sex scene for no more than 15 seconds. With some voicover of "So I'm getting fucked by the new guy at work....maybe I should start from the beginning.

Now you spend the next minute with introduction of the new guy, some teasing, and other shit just to setup the vibe. Maybe even throw in the women's husband flirting with some other bimbo for good measure. Maybe he even fucked her. I would even add some non-emotional sex scene between the two maybe him giving her backshots while looking at some only fans model on his phone just to secure the fact that he is a fucking ass hole.

The next scene late night office work, maybe dude and the wife sitting at a table looking at papers. They touch..or their eyes meet...something...and then boom bam kissing....than sex right one the office table.

From there I would have done cut from 15 second office scene....to 15 second sex scene building up the ultimate scene of them leaving and taking all the money with them. Each 15 second cut a different sex position in a different location....Office, Car, Home...Gas Station Bathroom...get fucking creative. LOL

Then you end with maybe a Ring and some divorce papers on a table before going to the scene with them fucking on the beach. Done and Done.

I wanted to reply to this separately. The males being short is not a VaM thing it is a "User" thing. For whatever reason many of these artist overly shrink down the size of their males. VaM does not do that by default....you actually would have to go out of your way to do that.

Sorry one last thing....compare the 12 minute storry that OCICI put together with VaM to this:

Yes...both are using VaM....however one clearly is using the maximum capabilities of the tool compared to the other one.
