Y3DF Can Be Brought Back

The idea is inspired in Arnold Schwarzenegger's The Last Action Hero and Stallone's Demolition Man.
Both movies make references to the other actor. In the Last Action Hero there's a scene in some kind of Blockbuster where Stallone is featured as the leading actor for Terminator, even dressed up as Terminator. There are other examples, they mocked each other in several films. They got away with it. No copyright issues involved.

Just to be careful, as I've been told 3d artists fear copyright problems, Y3DF can return as 3DF a Film Studio that collapsed. In that way, the Y3DF characters can make some kind of return as actresses of the demised film studio.

The 3d artist can buy a similar model or figure for his female characters that is reminiscentof y3df characters.

"Brenda" could have been played by, I dunno, let's say Sonia. "Samantha" was played by Whitney.... "Carla" by Karen; "Gloria" by Alexa... the last names can be easily made up as well... "Georgia" can be the character partaken by Angelina... The series can also have different names: "Strangers in Strangeland" can be "Strangers in Weary Land"; "Abandonment Issues" can be renamed "Abandoned Island"... whatever... just as long as they are shown to be similar.

In this new story, 3DF film studio, among other things, lost its legendary director not Kalevra but Falevra? Alevra? Some name like that... A new male character wants to reestablish the former glory of 3DF in his own new film studio. For example, if the artist behind this is Lucius Logan, in the comic series, the new director character is the owner of, dunno, Lusty Logan Film Enterprise... as such, he needs to bring back the washed-up actresses. He could even be close to some of them... In the story some of the actresses can be perfect for their roles or the opposite, at odds with how slutty or depraved their characters were...

The main thing is that the female characters look similar to the Y3DF characters... The constant references can also add to the story.

The new director can, in the new comic story, try to fool people as the new Kalevra or new Alevra or new ... whatever the name is... other stuff can be done like, in the new comic series, mocking of the original y3df comics... some of the actresses can be downright mean to each other: The y3df rivalry Brenda-Kelly-Jane can be taken up in new and refreshing ways.

After all, a new director trying to recover former glory, starting from scratch, having to convince difficult, petty or even depressed, alcoholic actresses can be quite a challenge. Especially without having the full economic backbone to get away with it... the director could require unconventional approaches to putting his film industry on the map.

This terror movie did something along those lines:

"The film features various people involved in the motion picture industry portraying themselves, including Langenkamp, who is compelled by events in the narrative to reprise her role as Nancy Thompson. Wes Craven's New Nightmare features several homages to the original film such as quotes and recreations of the most famous scenes"
