Yeah, they changed something around the 1st of May.

You have to update the kindle app and it's no longer compatible with the DRM removal software I use as well (ebook DRM Removal)

The really annoying thing is that if you look at any given book on Amazon, under the "Product Details" there is a category called "Simultaneous device usage". If that is set to "Unlimited", it's supposed to mean there isn't any DRM on the book. This is specified by the author.

Yet, I've got a few books published after May 1st that calibre can't convert, stating it's DRM protected.

I've got the latest versions of KFX Input and Output

Edit:

I did contact the vendor of my DRM removal software and he said it would take months to crack the new Amazon format issue. Hopefully they will figure it out.

The latest version of epubor now works with Kindle for PC 2.7.1.

I just downloaded both and tested it and it works fine.
