[Melissa N.] Collection

yeah, most of Melissa's stories are about guys that get stuck feminized without having done anything to deserve it but where victims of schemes or crazy sisters/girlfriends/wives or of things that went too far and out of control
That's one of the reasons, I don't like her stories. Forced Identity death on innocent people is disgusting. It's like watching a show where the villain always wins.

This series would’ve been better served if it kept the focus on the main couple, and the discovery of their kinks. Instead it’s bending itself out of shape to go through the motions of every Melissa short story.

The funny thing is that the writer could have told the story and depicted the transformations just fine without having to show those drawn-out scenes of the protagonist at work (for example, showing him trying to dress and act more "masculine" before heading to work, then showing him having been transformed into a secretary when he gets home and talking to his wife, thus removing all the scenes away from the couple).

But it seems that Melissa is no longer able to condense her stories, and the longer they go on, the slower they become.

For those who have forgotten, she held a poll where subscribers had to choose between the following options for her new story after the end of mirror (lol):
- A new illustrated book story (like *Job for a Milf*)
- Short panel stories (like her early works, 8–16 panels)
- Long panel stories (150–200 panels each).

It was the last option that won the day and gave rise to ā€˜Bestie in the Making’, which already has... 237 panels, and it seems the main character is still a long way from completing her transformation into the ultimate bimbo.

Here's where I go a bit pedantic and complain about the usage of "identity death." Nobody actually died, the victims in (most of) Melissa's stories still remember their previous lives. "Identity death" for me implies that the previous identity has been erased, nothing of it remains. I prefer to call what happens here "identity loss."

On the contrary, "identity death" is perfectly legitimate here! If absolutely nothing remains of the previous personality: likes, dislikes, sexual preferences, intelligence, and/or if he/she no longer even knows that he/she was once a man, one can very well speak of the death of the personality, and thus also of the death of the person!:/

When someone is diagnosed as brain dead after a car accident, all that remains is an empty shell that is kept alive artificially!

So, to make a long story short, Ian is clinically brain dead! Only Bella remains, a completely new (unnecessary) artificial personality, with about as much independence as a wind-up doll!

and i'm SICK of this Trope!

Most of the Melissa trans content starts off with a woman and her boyfriend or guy relative. The guy gets manipulated and turned into a dumb blonde trans bimbo. At the end, the blonde trans bimbo is pimped out to another guy. There is absolutely no gain in the end of the story. It always ends with the blonde trans bimbo being stuck that way and has to continue being trans which is how bestie is going to end.
Well, that's also something to think about.

- We ALREADY know what's going to happen from the very first frame. That same man from the first panel will become the full-lipped blonde. Well, there are still some options with the blonde, but overall, the situation is clear. And if it's clear, then what's the point of stretching the story out over 200+ panels when everything is already crystal clear in 8-20 images? We saw the first stage, we saw the last, and we're satisfied.

- Such lengths would make sense if the story had "What a twist" moments, with the revelation of some secret plans, love triangles, difficult decisions, and all that. But we have 20 frames of the dress from all angles, 20 frames of hair curling and highlighting, two shots of sitting in the office, two shots of hanging out at the gym. And almost every shot is replaced by ONE single panel expositing the situation and stage.

- And all these shots are filled with cringe-worthy dialogue like, 'You have no choice but to put on stockings and makeup,' 'Oh my god! How did I get such huge breasts?'" and "Did I just start sucking this guy's dick?! What's happening to me?" The sheer number of shots not only fails to enhance the immersion, but actually detracts from it.

- Especially considering that in these stories, the actual feminization begins and ends with a trip to the cosmetologist. The characters suddenly start acting mega-feminine, the guys start to like them, they start sucking like the best prostitutes, and everything fits them perfectly. Hell, not even all girls manage to master this art. Trans people who WANT to be feminine consciously practice it. And here, forced and coerced, a sex bomb immediately blossoms. Where are all these cringe-worthy conversations about inappropriate topics, the rude tone and harshness, the awkward gait, the complaints about corsets and heels?

The result is a paradox. The more the authors try to delve into the subject by stretching out the scenes, the worse they generally get.

So, if we all came to watch a brutal murder of a personality, and the author knows what will happen in the story, and the reader knows what will happen in the story, why all this "What choice will he make?", "Will he be able to get out of this situation?"? No, he won't be able to, no, it will end with some alpha male fucking him in the ass. This applies, by the way, not only to feminization, but also to bimbos and BDSM and everything else. And trying to play with these themes "in detail" undermines the main idea for which the story begins—to see an independent person die, becoming a weak-willed object of sexual gratification.

No, of course the stories could have been about something else and deeper, but who needs that?

would it be better if melissa went back to writing stories that have images on it? rather than image story/comic (so to speak)

I don't know what all the complaints are about. It's a great story. I like upbeat endings. I can't believe anyone who seeks out tg transformation stories who could look like that would resist the "lure of femininity" permanently. The last panel of this "the farm" excerpt sums it up for me... I'd never go back!
