That's another thing to mark the progressive fall of his/her IQ has no explanation at all.
No one would even try. This is the universe of trans stories—it's almost a given that a good portion of women on the planet dream of feminizing their loved ones for fun, while men are strictly divided into dumb, muscle-bound, lustful primates who pounce on anything with lipstick, and weak, spineless idiots who are ready to put on stockings and heels for trumped-up reasons. Basically, that's not why we read such stories. I've written a whole series of thoughts above about how this genre works, and why this level of plot simplification is more than enough.
But let's fantasize, and here's my fanfic:
- Let's speed things up a bit and make the plot more intense without three consecutive issues devoted to showing off the dress from every angle.
- Bella gets an invitation on a date with the director. And he takes him to a nightclub. His wife begs him to spy on her, saying something like, "It'll be so exciting to see you in character."
- The date is going as usual, with waitresses and strippers milling about. And then, suddenly, a commotion erupts. She, a dancer, attacks his wife at the bar, screaming something like, "Is that you?! Look at what I've done! This is all your fault!"
- At home, the hero asks his wife what happened, and she says, "Oh, that's my college roommate. My ex-best friend. We didn't break up on good terms. I don't want to talk about it."
- The hero ends up sleeping with his boss. His wife finds out. She files for divorce. "This has gone too far." Half the property, everything. Fearing shame and public censure, the hero doesn't fight for his rights and, left with nothing, is forced to be the boss's secretary and whore.
- Two or three years have passed. The director, naturally, is married and possibly has children, so the hero is left to be the boss's office whore, which is how he supports his life. The boss likes this arrangement; apparently he was already a sucker for anal/oral sex, plus he feels a sense of power over the man who has stooped so low for him. With the boss's money, the hero completely transforms into a bimbo with huge lips and round silicone breasts. No, he didn't change his gender; the cage is a reminder to the boss of his secretary's helplessness. And now he has the remote for the vibrator.
- And while shopping for cosmetics, he suddenly hears a familiar voice. It's his wife. The hero abruptly hides behind the counter and sees her with a new man, who timidly looks around while the woman selects foundation (apparently for him). They're wearing wedding rings...
- The hero realizes something's seriously wrong and goes to that very strip club, targeting that very stripper. He's lying in wait. She's ready to fight. "It's not my fault your man hangs out in places like that!" - "Do you know this woman?" (showing a photo of his ex) - the dancer's eyes widen.
- It turns out that the stripper is her ex-husband. "She said she had an unhappy marriage, and that her ex cheated on her, but to do something like that..." She tricked him in the same way, first with cross-dressing, then with some strange flirtation, and in the end, he had to undergo a gender transition when she dumped him, leaving him alone to face the mafia and his debts.
- Figuring out that this isn't just a coincidence, they use their connections and learn that before her first marriage, she had a boyfriend in college, now called "Eliza," who stars in trans porn as a Sissy (without a cage). They watch these videos together, and maybe they'll have some awkward, semi-lesbian sex.
- And the investigation leads to the school. It turns out she had a brother. Apparently, the brother was gay. She supported him and helped him come out by showing up to class wearing her dress and makeup. He was bullied and committed suicide.
- And now she's this "rainbow widow," who rolls through life, breaking the sexual orientations of her men due to a teenage trauma fixation.
- "And so, at some nightclub, these two see their ex-wife coaxing a hesitant and shy, overly tall, sultry brunette with full lips to come out and dance in the center of the room..."
- You can figure out the continuation/ending yourself, but even this ellipsis is dramatic.
True, for this, it would be a good idea to trim down all the scenes, in the style of early short story, so that the psychological manipulations remain off-screen, and then, in our heads, they can be expanded to more plausible ones. After all, none of us are fantastic manipulators, hypnotists, or schemers to be able to actually show how this could have happened. So, as in comics, it's best to leave the big plan off-screen."
