in general that is an interesting Tool, yeah. but, from a narrative perspective, you will have to come to an endpoint at some point. either the controled is ultimately accepting of their position without the need for the control, or they do ultimately succumb to the Control. But this might depend on the actual limitations in the story. do you have a concrete Example for that?
I would also add another another Type of Story: where the Mind control power has some elaborate rules and requirements, and to get power over any person is a little bit of a challenge and Riddle. Hidden Knowledge has a tiny bit of that, and "Oriental Gothic" is a Mini-Story that uses this. But on a larger and more famous Scale, "Death Note" might be the best Example of what I mean. The working within, and around the Rules, to get People under Control could be used in a longer, more elaborate sexual Story as well. (IIRC There is also a Manga called "23 Slaves for me" that follows this Method, that I stumbled across once Years ago, but never finished)
I would disagree with you a little bit on Saint James Infirmary, though. Im re-reading it right now, and right now (at Page ~450) I am counting only one Woman that had Sex with Adrian without any type of Manipulation involved (Reka, during the Threesome with Miriam)
