[Various Authors] Awesome stories from excellent authors

A series has a URL like https://www.literotica.com/series/se/494681010
An individual part or standalone has a URL like https://www.literotica.com/s/sports-bets-unexpected-result-pt-01

There are some ungrouped multipart stories without the top series URL. Downloading all the parts as html, unzipping the zip files and dragging the html files into a temporary folder, then dragging them into Sigil to create an e-book works for me. I have a bunch of regex saved searches to strip the unwanted stuff and format the parts.

Whenever I use a series URL as the one you have provided, I get the following error: "None of the 1 URL/stories can be/need to be downloaded".
What am I missing? Is there something I need to configure in the plugin settings?

Until now, I have been manually copying and pasting stories into Sigil and turning them into ePubs. This method works, but is time consuming especially if you are trying to archive a series with 10+ chapters.

I have also used Tampermonkey scripts but I have found that sometimes they skip multiple paragraphs especially if a paragraph has only 1 or 2 words in it. So this method is not reliable.

Is it because you are getting an error or you just dont know that you have to use the parent link when downloading a series? If you are getting an error O_P_T has a thread with a fix for this and it worked for me when i was getting errors.

Yes, I was getting an error whenever I used a 'series' URL.

I downloaded the test/beta version of the plugin from the post that you linked and viola! It works. Thanks!

I take it you're OK now. The error was probably "list index out of range"

For those multipart stories that are not grouped as a series I find the easiest way is to download all the parts as html using the fanfiction plugin. I have created a different library for them to make them easy to find.
Double clicking on the book cover will open the zip file. I drag all the html files to a temporary folder one by one and then select the lot and drag them into Sigil (the latest version allows drag and drop), run a few regex search and replace to massage the book into something useable.
I copy the metadata into notebook++, add the metadata tags around it, copy it into the content.opf file and then save and drag into Calibre .If everything is OK I delete the individual downloads, add cover etc and move to main library.

Another potential option, if using Calibre with the FanFiction plugin, is by selecting the FanFicFare==>Anthology Options==>Make Anthology Epub from URLs option -- this can be useful if the LIT author did not link the stories under a series and chose to just load them all as standalones.

Also, sometimes I get the "None of the 1 URL/stories can be/need to be downloaded" result when using the Series URL is that I just chose one of the linked chapter underneath the series and try updating with that, it will sometimes override the series URL.

Finally, it looks like there have been several minor updates "Test" updates to the FanFicFare plugin in the last couple of weeks that address various issues that arose in LIT changes, I think the latest Test version is 4.58.11, so you can try that or just wait for the next official FFF update

The other option is to use the EpubMerge plugin to combine individual files. I use this mostly with published epubs that have multiple parts, but I also use it when an author at literotica, et al, has added another stand alone chapter, or when there is another chapter added but it isn't in the series list.

I think I tried the Anthology options some time ago and wasn't all that happy. Probably time to try that again.

For the "None of the 1 URL... " message, have you read the resulting error message? Another thing to try is to create a new library and see if you can download the file(s) into it.
