Character count on messages?

It was brutal chopping down a message to 420 without a clue how far I had to go.

I ended up putting it into word several times thinking I'd cut more than enough only to get the oops again and again.

You must mean the profile message. I've increased the limit to 5000 characters.

Minimum is 5 words for new posts and 3 for replies.
