Not to stir up any drama... but I did message you personally through Literotica when you were still active there if you could share your works that were previously uploaded on Literotica for free and were taken down. I have saved some stories but the files got corrupted. I am not looking to gain anything from your works other than read them.

I don't like drama either.

My free works are free for everyone, the others are on Smashwords for a reason. I have put a lot of time and effort into my stories, more than I get in return, even from the free ones, and I'm not talking about traditional compensation. I've come to appreciate the time I spend working on something, which has led me to appreciate other people's time. In the past, you'd let a friend borrow a book, but now you post it for 1,000s to take. Time and effort is worth something, mine, yours, everyone's, and it feels even more valuable when 99.9% of people who read it don't even say "Hey, this was sort of okay, I kind of enjoyed it."

In the end, I'm not sure what I was hoping for (from people) by putting my stories up for free. I think I did it mostly for myself, but people evolve, and selling them rather than seeing people give them away without my permission makes the time and effort I've put into them feel worth it. (Plus, it's only fair for the people who have paid for some of my stories.)

Mom's Bikini Summer Fantastic took me 5 months in total to write, according to my writing logs. (Yep, I keep one.) Sept. 5, 2022 to Jan 30, 2023. 3 months for the main story, then I came back to write a bonus chapter. Imagine if you put 5 months into something creative just to come online and see it posted without your knowledge or permission? It takes the drive out of you.

And, I'm a little active at Lit, on the forum side.
